I want to replace the side lights and fog lights - I've got new bulbs to match my HID headlights colour. The problem is fitting them. THe instructions say remove the indicator housing - no problem. Then remove the three bolts holding the side/fog light housing in place - I can only see one peering in throught the hole where the indicator was. Any ideas? Cheers! :duffer:

Red LWB parked in Thurloe Place last night just round the corner from South Kensington Tube station. Has a high rear spoiler and last 3 letters are ACH. You must have been partying because you were still there at 3 when I finished work. Darrell

Hi everyone. Just a short introduction. I’m Daniel. I’ve worked for Adrian Flux Insurance for nearly 18 years now. If any of you guys on here have any general insurance queries or specific problems with Adrian Flux insurance please let me know. I can assure you I will be completely impartial despite being on the pay roll of Adrian Flux. If we have messed up I will acknowledge that and make efforts to get it corrected, if any of you do not understand an insurers viewpoint I will do my best to clearly explain it. It could be problems ranging from simple paperwork issues to major claim disputes. With my years of experience I should be able to answer most queries immedi…

Stripped mine down yesterday as it wasnt working properly. Found a problem with the wipers and track. Guess after 15 years of rubbing they are going to be worn. Anyway, pushed them in a bit for better contact and tested on a test rig and all seems to be ok now!! Saves buying an aftermarket gauge or new sender unit (orig)

Last night was digging around the side of the drivers seat to find a bonanza of coins (my zed eating my money in more than just petrol). I wound the seat right back to aid my rumaging and now it doesnt go forward again. It can move back and forward about 1 cm at best. I have seen the below thread about coins on the track and have done my best to clear anything off and also used a vacuum to suck anything off it. Is it possible i have pushed the seat too far back and it is off its runners or will it most likely be something still on the track? On the thread below it mentions about 4 bolts to remove the seat. I can give this a go to further check for coins because…

Now everyone on here listen and listen good. With far too many folks leaving the road and smashing their cars you had all better take it easy through the winter, I don't and I'm sure nobody else wants anyone hurt or worse. With the latest being Uno and a damn nice car, I think that I have to say that everyone slow down. I myself left the road a couple of months ago and smashed my rear suspension up, I had to change the subframe and while I did it I changed over to poly bushes. Now this is a long winded but not hard job and would cost a couple of hundred quid because I changed the hicas joints at the same time and I will be eliminating soon. This done …

Hi Just wondering what controls the single press up/down control on the drivers side window? The windows still work fine but it's just the dingle press up/down has stopped. I have removed the relay unit and re-soldered a couple of dry joints and both relays in the unit are clicking away. Any ideas??? Cheers Vijay

Sent me the wrong wheel nuts twice. First time the bloke hardly listened to my description - couldn't get me of the phone fast enough. Second time they got the thread pitch wrong. That's about three hours of my time they've wasted with trips to to post office to return stuff and aborted wheel change attempts. The guy I just spoke to on the phone wouldn't even tell me the boss's name so I could complain. I won't use them ever again.

I know some of you have replaced their indicator bulbs for LED ones and was wondering how you overcame the 'fast flash' problem? Did anyone use the electronic flasher unit to replace the standard flasher relay? If so, are they a direct replacement and do they work ok? Cheers, Graham.

Some w***er has now backed into my Zed in a leisure centre car park and driven off while I was inside. Drivers door and window wrecked, sat up all last night looking out window to keep an eye on car. Window just a gaping hole, don't know what to do till can get it done, as no garage! One witness, an off duty policewoman, got first 2 letters of reg, and said it was an asian in a green estate, possibly a mondeo! Can't believe it, I'm not having much luck lately as far as the Zed goes!
