Hi all Is it possible to have a Z that is tuned/chipped but still have the 112 mph limiter as mine seems quicker than a couple of others i have driven, but still limited, only mods i know of is a HKS Super drager and a HKS air filter! ?

ARE zed prices going up or is it my wishfull thinking ? I 've just been looking on line at the zeds for sale on the auto trader site, and they seem to me that they are going up :dance: , hope this is true

Whilst investigating the lack of engine undertray, I noticed my car has a K&N induction kit fitted. Spoke to my mate who checked the car out with me when I bought it and he had assumed I knew so didn't bother mentioning it. Saves me £100 or so when I start the mods. Wonder if anything else will turn up when I get a thorough check over from a specialist...?

After my coolant hoses decided to pop a hole I had them all replaced and did a plenum by pass. Just took the car out today after doing all that and had topped up the coolant, but I still have the same over heating problem, or at least the stock temp gauge says so. Soooooooooo, anyone got any ideas on what could be the problem? Bear in mind that I've replaced all the damn coolant hoses at the back of the engine where the leak first started and there is no apparent leakage any where, yet. Time to replace the water pump maybe?

DaFox was selling his Zed and even though he is in Bangor north Wales and im in Milton Keynes, something felt right about it. Hey, I have a HU wiring problem all power is there expect no sound with any of the speakers! The original Bose HU works fine with all speakers This one has been done before - being reading through previous forums Daves diagram on the wiring helps but i have two extra wires Anyone had this before, can help? :headvswal Cheers

Ok this has probably been posted before but i have done some searching and not found another thread for it so here goes. I'm buying some new leather seats, they are from a series 2 and the passenger side is electric! :dance: The old manual passenger leather seat will be coming out and changed for the electric one. I have seen a thread before about the required wiring but not fitment. Will I be able to mount the electric seat on the old manual seats subframe or will i need to get the subframe from the car that the new seats came out of? Also help with wiring or a link to the other thread i saw would be appreciated! Merry xmas Ed

Hi All, Wondered if anyone could help with this one.. I bought my Zed a few weeks ago and have not had a chance to drive it before it was delivered from Cornwall. It drive of the ramps and drove to the garage where it was booked in for a MOT (its around 2 miles) no probs. We then get a call from the garage stating the car does not move, so we go down there and true enough it didnt. We left this till the next morning, the car started fine and drove around 300yards before it lost drive, nothing.....The next morning exactly the same. I would appreciated any help with this one as i am new to Zed's :(

On the A56, about 3pm heading towards Skipton. Only realised at the last minute so didn't flash or anything, plus my Gran was in the car and it would have just confused her! And I wasn't in the Zed either so I wouldn't have stood out... Mark

I probably should have pmd the man, but I reckon we could all put in and wish him luck with the rebuild if he did. So then Mr Pone did you get the shell or not and can I or any of us offer any help with the rebuild.

hi all, my friends just rebuilt his 300zx but it wont fire, there is no signal going to the coil packs....it will turn over/crank but no spark, also fuel is present any ideas?

Hi everyone. Came to start the z today and guess what? it didn't. The engine turns over and fires up for a few seconds and then stops.It must be getting a spark in order to start for a few seconds so could this be a fuel problem? any advice please. all the best for this festive season everyone trev
