Howdy Y'all - Happy New Year. I'm looking to purchase a 94 300ZX TT, in the next 2 months and the plan is to take it from a 280BHP machine to, initially a 450BHP (similar torque figure) at the rear wheels animal. I've read that the VG30DETT engine is more than capable of doing this but does need turbo upgrades as the T25's aren't that good at sustaining boost, new rods, cooling etc.... Is there a definitive list anywhere of the mods that can be done to achieve this. From reading the VG30DETT engine can cope comfortably with 600 bhp. Has anyone done this kind of upgrading, and what are the costs going to be so that I can budget accordingly. Also, NOS …

Have you all noticed the amount of new blood we have in the club, or at least on the forum, its good to see so many people walking the path of the Zed. I sound like an old hand but I haven't had mine a year yet :smw: Still can only be good for the club to grow.

Is there anyone on here that would do the two console pods with the blue led`s for me as ive never used a soldering iron in my life and would botch it just by looking at it. There would be many beer tokens for anyone that could do it :) What price would i be looking at for someone to weld me 2 new rear arches as the owner before dafox rolled them with a ball point hammer or a bears claw :headvswal Dafox had them wax-oiled so are good for a while yet but just wanted to get a rough guess at cost to replace. If i was to get a set of UK clocks, could i transfer my milage on mine which is in KMs to miles? Dont know if thats entirely legal or not? I wouldnt be …

Hi everyone, Ive had my Z since September, it was the white one once owned by Kenny_g0. Anyway, in two words "LOVING IT". I see what everyone means now when they say it puts a smile on your face when you drive it! Anyway, ive got christmas out of the way so ive got some money to spend on her. At the moment the only thing engine related that has been tinkered with is the BOV's and its got an aftermarket Jap exhaust (no idea what, its in the garage at the mo getting a few bits and bobs done). Any ideas as what the best route to go down whould be to increase performance? So far ive got.... 1. Apexi air filter

Does anyone have advice on what suspension set up is best with electronic dampners fitted so I can raise the car height from inside the vehicle (having massive clearance issues at the minute) It was mentioned by my mate who thinks Eibach do them (he is looking put some, dare I say it, on his Supra) for the Nissan but he is not sure. If it helps I have a budget of around £800. I have an 89 TT Auto Targa 2+2 All advice appreciated.

Since I bought my Z in 2004 (N/A 95 5 spd), I have a vibration issue. When I accelerate there is a big vibration comming from underneth. What I tried to solve the problem I balanced the 4 wheels I bought a new tranny rubber mount, I balanced the stock drive shaft, I bought a 1 piece aluminium driveshaft (stillen) (The runout is in the factory spec) I changed my N/A engine for TT, so I changed the tranny and the engine rubber mount at the same time. I did a 4 wheels alignment, I tried some friend wheels, The problem persist... I disassemble the old tranny and I found out that there is a worn bearing,(main drive gear bearing i …

The garage I had my car booked into for a big fix has just rung me to say his partner has left the business and he now cannot repair my car until he has employed someone else. This leaves me with a car and no MOT until it's fixed. So anyone used any garages around the Ipswich area before that they can recommend as I use the car most days to get to work, so can't really do without it. The car needs new rear brake pipes as they are all corroded (badly) which means dropping the rear axel, which needs two people to do safely and I just don't have the facilities at my house to do this (no garage and no flat area). Cheers, Gaz

i want to get a HID kit but a little short on cash at the moment. are there any cheaper alternatives to HID that will make zed headlights or front sidelights on a UK TT brighter as the standard main beam lights are just plain dangerous. I mean stuff like brights bulbs and things that would make a difference but not hurt my wallet
