i've just brought a 92 auto 300zxtt jap import, its currently missing really badly, but when i wiggle the engine wiring loom it either gets better or worse any idea? cheers carl

i was just wondering how much diferent an import is on insurance compared to the uk spec and are there any major differences between the cars oh i meant twin turbs

I know this is'nt 100% Zed related, but i need some advice from any of you out there who are into Audio. I need to make up a cable 2 RCA sockets to a 3.5mm Stereo line socket (To plug 3.5mm Jack plug into) I have the cable and the socket and everything i need (I think). How do i go soldering these things on now? Are there any websites with digrams etc?

Right ppl as some of you will know i co-run a pub, the company have decided in their wisdom that i'm to go round and sort out probleme pub's, i.e though's with no managers managers on holiday, managers have been suspended sacked so on and so forth. This is where lies my probleme, i'm currently rebuilding the Zed in my car park, and it's almost finished, exceptfor a front bumper, now i needto move the car to my home address in Cambridge, for the pub in surey........ so has anyone got a front bumper i could borrow for a few days? dont care what it is or what it looks like, it's just so i can move the car, thing is i need it by the 1st! i know it's a tall order…

bare metal respray on vijays...what sorta price (roughly) are we looking at for one of these?

Just had it flash at me, not bad me thinks but, it might screw up my plans for the rear lights. So Can you send one of the break light wires to another so you can use the other bulb for a fog light, will this make the warning lamp flash up all the time. Cheers, Scrawni.

Just done my first Kat Skin (bloody hard work). Have used extra padding for seat cushion and back rest. Looks a bit more inviting than standard. What do ya reckon. Also, had Z logos in matching colour... less is more!! Just want to know what people think? Andy

help please - i have just got a new exhaust off a tt to put on my n/a, however there is a wired sensor coming off my cats but nowhere for them to fit on the new exhaust, is there a way around this problem? thanks

is anyone using an electric fan instead of the viscose(cant spell it) one,are u usin a push fan or a pullin fan???,no u gain 10-15bhp,but the main thing is does it do the job,is it man enough to cool the zed,is it better to hav an electric one?????,no nearly all new cars use them,but there not a zed,no there a straight bolt on which is good,what about the fan size?????,and last but not least there about £130,prob cheaper in the usa,bet u cant guess im bored this morn lol,many thanks in advance garry :D

Guys and girls, As above, fited some BOV's i got from kirby, they were already on the recirc pipe workso just replaced the lot. i know i have to bung the hole in the air intake pipe work, but i have been told that i have to leave the bottom pipe work disconected, and bunged i assume, however i have done a serch and everybodyelse that has fitted bov's in place of the recircs, there bovs seam to be connected to the pipe work??? if i bung the pipe work will it cause me any probs??? The pipework im talking abut is the bottom blue dot in the picture, if that helps TIA Neil

Found out what most of the electrical units are, whilst stripping the car, but what's the little electric box which is fixed inside the driver's side footwell upper trim cover? Also when reconnecting the battery there is a relay clicking on, which is fixed to the fuel pump electrical box behind the nearside rear seat. What does this relay power? Ta.

Have tried to contact SPEEDY S for a while but has not returned my PMs. Anyone have any details of him or whats happened ? I have his ECU to post out and he was going to give me an address for his workshop (John Dixon I think) to send directly but he never came back to me. Anyne know his whereabouts please can you PM me. Hey guys, hope you all had a great christmas and are going to have a blinding new year :) Slight problem: My osr taillights have BOTH stopped working. Changed the bulbs over to see if it was them and it isn't. The circuit is dead. Brake, indicator and front lights are all fine ust the two taillights. In the interim i've whipped power from the other side to light em up, but i want the proper system restoring. Any ideas? By the way there are no fuses gone and the relays are all fine. :rant: Rich

Hi, While I've got the headlamps out I thought I'd look at at annoying problem I've had since putting in some H.I.D lamps. One bulb only come on 50% of the time and it's deffo the bulb and not the ballast or holders. Can anything be done with the bulb or does it have to be replaced?? If so are they all the same fittings and where's the cheapest place to get a bulb?? Cheers Vijay

just took the big end shells out of the car today, had a bit of chew but got there in the end. having inspected the shells the number six set have worn a bit, showing the copper. the crank is still nice and shiny so i,m gonna order a new set for her. my question is...are there different size bearings in these motors?? the reason i ask is when i have remove the shells i noticed that if you try and pair up different sets they look different diameters.... any info? where is best place to order them and how much you reckon. cheers :)

what would it take to get over 400bhp out of an N/A? reason for me asking is that theres a bloke round my way with an N/A whos boasting a 460bhp figure. :confused: surely this cant be possible without major internal engine rework and nitros. he's supposably a member on here but i dont know his nik name and he takes it racing regualy :rofl:
