Ive just bought (tonight!) one of the above that was registered here in 2003. Although I have service history since, I have no documentation from when it was first imported in. Is there any way you can request details? As in the ESVA test results etc? Just would be nice to have if it was available. Cheers Henry

Hi, I'm fairly new here, but have been on the 200 sxoc.com for nearly 6 years, and for those of you in the NW I've been going to the Mascrat Jap car meets for 6 years as well!! About 6 weeks ago I paid Graham_Foley69 for some parts, and I understand he's had problems with a broken arm, but I'm pretty desperate for the brakes now and the number I have for him is 07871218045, which is never answered, and I don't have an email address. If anyone has a number or email address I'd be grateful, I can't seem to PM him and I can't post on his threads to ask as they all seem to be on Items for Sale which won't let me reply to. He seems a reasonable chap who sells a lot …

Hi guys... I'm a new member to this web site, so i'll say hello 1st! :D I bought my 90' TT Zed early Sept, and love the driving experience!:D However the fuel pump went 'oops i'm not playing anymore' at the end of Oct, and under warranty went to Nationwide Auto Centre where it sat for 5 days with the mechanics constantly turning the car over in order to diagnose the problem. Even with the battery flat, i was advised that ther was a problem with the alarm... :wack: So after aquiring a spare batt and jump leads i showed them the fuel feed pipe and while turning the car over pointed out that there was no fuel pressure coming through... Experts eh??? :smash:…

My n\a import with auto box has a speedo converter \ delimiter fitted about a year ago and seems to work fine but my steering has gone stiffer than usaul. I thought at first it must be the steering rack control unit next to the ecu, but have had secound thoughts that it might be the delimiter\ converter playing up. Could it be this and the speedo reading being ok ? If i fit a uk clock set from a tt, would it work on a n\a ? and would this mean i would no longer need the kph to mph converter ? Would i have to change the speedo sender sensor on the gearbox ? This is really doing my head in :smash: ( and my arms due to the steering bieng heavy) , so an…

guys, you may recall there was a post saying that I could hear an awfull whine on my trans, or on the back of my engine (mk1 Auto Twin Turbo Import) Well, the noise is deffinetly from the autobox, how depressing.. it gets worse, the car now slips out of drive within going about 10 yards down the road. It does seem very odd though, that if i turn the car off, leave it 30secs, start her up again, it will go in gear. is there any reason why this would happen? The sound is deffintley Hydraulic now, theres no denying it. any suggestions what can I can do now? is it likely to be the torque converter, or a pump within the gearbox unit. …

Just wondering how heavy your tailgates are as I have to pull quite hard to lift it and occasionally it will come back down, especially when its iced or soked. It's got a stock spoiler on it (don't think its a sponge one). which I'd quite like to remove at some point, will this make much difference to the weight when removed?

Just had a poly bush kit fitted all round and the car is making a strange whining noise from the back. It only appears when I back off the throttle. As soon as I apply the throttle it stops. It is also clunking when I put the throttle on and off. It's not much but there is a definite clunk as the throttle takes up the drive and then releases it. Any ideas?. Cheers, Harty.

I am really worried about this. My Zed has just come back from the bodyshop and looks great apart from a yucky black fungus which has grown over my lovely red paint in a couple of patches on the roof. I am hoping it isn't gonna spread any further. Just the cosmetic factor is bad enough but the car seems to be a little down on power now to boot:( Anyone know what I can do about it? :D
