General Discussions - 300ZX Related

Because i like wizzy displays ive got an Apexi multichecker of ebay. Now as the apexi manual suggests i will connect the multichecker loom to the ECU loom with those blue halfords cable splitters... so as i can still plug a conzult in can i use both at the same time or is this dangerous?

Can anyone tell me if its possible to do the rocker cover gaskets with the engine in the car? If so, how easy/difficult are they to do? Cheers.

Hi ive had my hicas light coming on and off when cold starting which ive been told is normal this time of year ,so i bought some dextron 3 to top it up which i take it goes in the green container to the left of the engine ,but i went to and it looks pretty full so i did t bother, any ideas :headvswal

Bloody Zed I hate it :rant: Well not really I love it :) However it's trying my patience at present. I have no heating it will only blow out freezing cold air its like a meat freezer driving it at present. All the blowers work and it de mists nicely only via cold air only. :headvswal :headvswal

Hi, My A/C wont blow air to my windscreen, and at this time of year its a pain in the a**!! All other blowers are working fine (dash/footwell etc), Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Are we going to have one this year? All of the traders I've used on this forum have been excellent. Smithy, Danny etc. But, I'd like to nominate Mike Feeney for the pure volume of random odds and sods, for not just my engine rebuilt parts but for all the bits of obscure trim, clips and badges etc....service has been impeccable. Even now at Christmas when the post in on a go-slow, stuff still turns up on time. MJP Auto never seems to fail to deliver. :duffer:

Got some new alloys (thanks ronflat) and just thought, at which point is it best to place the jack? There is a thin part running along the length of the underside of the car that I would expect would fit perfectly into the groove going through the top of the jack. Or is there another way? To change all 4 wheels would I expect to jack the car up twice or 4 times? Cheers Ps try not to use any car body terms as I'm useless with them. Thanks, Alex

Right I've got a strange one here since my car was bumped in the nearside the headlamps will no longer go to dip beam soon as you turn them on main beam only. All the fuses are in tack but there is no feed to the brown coloured head lamp realy ... Anyone seen this before ??? Craig

On the steering rack, theres a soliniod, but is there more than one model ? Eg,,, i think mines got two sets of wires that come out of it , but i can also remember seeing one with only one set , is this right ?

Cars been off the road for 18 months but back driving it again now :) I never seem to recall it was as bad as it is now, car had Cat Back Exhaust and a Jim Wolf Filter. Now I have added a Mines ECU, lightened crank pulley, lightened flywheel and a bit of extra weight with the bodykit and stuff, lol. I have been bedding a new clutch in and only been on boost for a few seconds at a time at 12psi low setting with a Profec B ii, and that's a rare occasion (bad weather to blame :( ). 100 miles for £25 and I drive like a grandad, I have a suspect boost leak but Im too busy driving it now and havent had chance to have a propper look at it, would that be a major contrib…
