Another gauge, oil pressure this time and I will be mounting it beside the boost and then a water temp like in the pic below. Don't worry tho I don't likt them all there and will be mounting them differently as soon as I can get my arse in gear.

First of all cheers to Sarre who plugged his laptop in on Sunday and had a look at the settings. The only problem I have now is the reference for the driven wheels. I never wired it up as SWM1's site I followed the instructions provided with the unit, I bought it second user from a forum member who had a 91 UK Manual Car, mines a 93 UK Manual. So It should be right, but I noticed on sunday night that looking at his various setting on my PC his driven wheels differ on his backed up dat files. Anybody know where i can purchase replacement sills and rear arches from and roughly how much they'd be? There was a place i found ages ago that sold ford granada replacement arches for £12 each. Just thinking if i'm spending the money getting the paintwork sorted out for the summer i might as well get replacements welded in and save having to do the same thing again next year.

i've fit a pair of dump valves on the pipes at the top of the engine in the pipes. I've removed the recurc valves and blocked the pipes up as told and fed a new vacum pipe to the new valves. I've got no boost leak and they are'nt seized can someone please post a picture of top mounted dumps and the vacum pipes. Thanks in advance. (HELP)

Hi guys, Just a quick one. I have an intermittent problem with the speedo. When I first start up the speedo doesn't work, however after about 10 mins, it flickers, then comes to life. it's almost as if its "warming up" with the car. i was wondering if this could be a loose connection? if so, where do i look? Hopefully someone can help : :bow: Changed the front wings for viper wings at same time as i was fitting hinges for lambo doors.....anyway had to remove the 'black plastic box' underneath the wings to make room. Does anyone know if it is possable to swap a complete (16 bit) ecu from a 96 n/a for an 8 bit one from an earlier model? . . . . basically I want to be able to fit a custom chip which is not so easy to do with my current ecu I welcome your feedback or any alternative suggestions Thanx Mikeb

OK done a bit of searching on this but haven't really got the answer. The Z has started making a whining noise when I accelerate, in all gears but really noticeable in 1st and 2nd. Whilst idling and in neutral it sounds very "rattley" but the noise stops once I put my foot on the clutch. Also after driving in third for a while on country roads (accelerating/decelerating) it sounds REALLY crap whining and rattling, but stops if I change down/up. Does this in fourth as well only really noticed in third. After hunting around I think it's something to do with the gearbox hence the noise dissapearing with my foot on the clutch. It's defo not the engine. I've found a …

I got these on ebay from a chap in the US. They replace the HUGE plastic BOSE case that sits in the doors, allowing you to fit aftermarket speakers. I'm slowly upgrading my system. I have already fitted a set of 17cm Alpine speakers in the rear and have 16cm Alpines for these adaptors. I have a 10" Pioneer sub to fit as well. I'm not fitting these yet as I want to Dynamat the doors completely first. Anyway, just wondering if anyone's bought these and how they rate them (the adaptors, not the speakers). Ebay seller is 'mjmautoinnovations'...
