Hi Guys, I would much appreciate some help on a couple of questions. i am in the process of fitting the lambo conversion from zcentre. I had to modify the brackets to bolt the panel on to which is no problem - but have noticed that the gap at either end is about 5mm each side. do i need to fill this or once bonded and bolted just leave it. The panel also is proud at the bottom about 3/4 mm - what is the best way to get this to sit flush without damaging the panel. I am assuming that the wiring is straight forward. I am working long hours at present in an area with no mobile signal so cant really try luke - just wandered if anyone had experienced the same and ove…

Thinking of buying a z very soon and need some help from the experts on here ;-) I have seen a 1991 black lwb twin turbo with 70,000 on the clock. The car is owned by an older man who is retiring now and wants something else. He is the only owner since import and has serviced regularly. He has no modes apart from nismo cat back exhausts, on since import. It has full leather which is bloody immaculate. All in he wants £2200. is this too much? too little? Are there certain things to check for when looking at these cars, and if i should get it are there any things you would reccomend i get immediately?? i have an apexi turbo timer/boost gauge already, but are there…

Anyone know the effect of the speed sensor being disconnected from the ECU? While running the power for my amp I noticed a Greddy speed limiter controler cut next to the ECU with one loose wire so I figured it had been disconnected. With some help from the friendly people at 300zx.com I got the wiring diagram for the Greddy and the ECU. However when I went to wire it up I found that the connector used to splice it into the speed sensor had come un-crimped and the bare wire was laying behind the ECU! I got everything hooked up properly and it seemed to be running smoother and also seems to have more power. Is it just my imagination or does the ECU go into some saf…

The problem is the chorley nissan garage are strugglings to find the solution to the problems. any help would be greatly appreciated. 1. vibration between 40-60mph from back nearside corner. not the wheel balancing gets slightly better after distance so heat makes it better, it can only be described as a wheel bearing noise coupled with an out of balance wheel. strange. 2. knocking when going over bumps from front right, again not as bad when warm. 3.nissan diognosed the vibration as a k…

...and i'm not giving to much away but i've figured out a way to give my car something completely unique and possibly market it afterwards. Was thinking of how to update the rear lights, looked at the venom 3 pots etc but i don't know if they'd suit my car. So was thinking if i could update the technology of the present light cluster without touching the lovely oval slits across the back. I'll keep you posted but should be relatively simple i just have to work out the pcb for the boards it'll need. Basic idea is to completely remove the diffusers and use LED technology to replace all the clusters (rear lights, brake lights, indicators, fogs and reverse…
