I figured it would be a good idea to fit braided FUEL lines as i've heard the rubber ones can crack or whatever, and i have to take them off anyway. I saw brightFAME's guide from a couple years back with his red connecters which would suit my colour scheme. Where have other people got them, they are around $85 on Z1 without postage. If i feel really cheap i could get them from ebay for about £10 but I don't trust the quality of the ebay specials as you can understand. Is there somewhere i can get them cheaper than Z1, tbh its just a stainless hose with connectors on the end. ** UPDATED to say FUEL rather than BRAKE. :)

I presume the seals have gone, clutch goes almost to the floor and i can't get it into gear. I can see there is a little oil on the lever inside the car to. So to add to the list already building, this has to be sorted. I've only ever tackled this on a motorbike's brake system and that isn't too tricky. A quick look on Ebay and i saw a couple, should i go for a particular make? I'm starting to lose faith in this car! :( Thanks

I had a little job to do in me changing the indicator on my door mirror and I wasn't aware you could remove just the housings without taking the door card off, etc, and then remove the all shebang....but you can. First get some strips of rag and then pull off the mirror, mine is the heated type so hence the two wires in the 2nd pic and just leave this dangling if you don't want to unplug that is. There are now six screws to remove, 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom, you can remove these with the window up with a normal length screwdriver but of course the mirror needs to be in the 'out' position. Please note i have a cut away part to the left on the pi…

Well my zeds now formally booked for end of Feb for its rust problem, as it needs both sills arches and the door looked at, as well as the new bumpers, and skirts, it doesn't leave much of the original car, so it's now changing colour... 99 spec front, with a black car.mad lip Kaminari side skirts and twin z lip, Twin z rear Wheels refurbished in anthracite And the body in OE Nissan EJ0 gold like I wanted to paint my old zed. Decided it's still Nissan, but different without being too loud. If anyone has any thoughts suggestions or reasons not to I'd like to hear, but I'm pretty set on the idea now, and our bodyshop are game.

Anyone planning on some Driftworks upgrades, heads up there is a price reduction on the way, see copy of E-mail I received today below. Jeff Dear Driftworks Traders, We're pleased to announce that we have reduced the price of almost every Driftworks alignment arm in our range. The RRP on some arms has been reduced by up to 27%! These price changes will go live on our website at 9am on Friday 20th November but we thought we’d give you some advance warning so you can adjust your storefronts. At considerable cost to ourselves, we have also upgraded all Driftworks alignment arms that use regular sized rod ends* to now include our highest qualit…

.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272037709337?_trksid=p2057872.m2748.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Following AndrewG's purchase, he found this for me and I'm picking it up next week! It'll go in the garage of the new house once it's finished and I've completed on it! I'll either wire it up to the main lights, or to an electric garage door which I'll eventually fit, so it'll come on at the same time as either of those! I'll be tiling the floor, skimming the walls, fitting LED downlighters (it's an integral garage, so nicely insulated with a flat ceiling) and the Nissan logo at the back. Depending on how much space is left over will depend …

The original I took from my Zed had a blown head gasket. Do these engines crack blocks and heads easily? I'm trying to gauge if it's worthwhile seeing if anyone wants this for a rebuild or chucking it in the scrap pile?

well everybody, my zed is back ....at long long last ...all in all about 6 years away ....two years at zedworld and a year with Jimmer AND three years before that when Duff knackered it the first time around ...and she feels fanbloodytastic...Jimmer has done a truly top job putting the engine back together...sorting out the boost leak actually on the Turbo outlet..( PE 1420's ) only used quarter throttle and it is way way way more healthy than when it came back from zedworld...next job is to clean it thoroughly, give it a good polish and then put it away for the winter ...next year get it out for some meets ...see you all in the spring ...cant say how happy i am c…

After seeing the excellent display of Z32s on the stand and showing the general public these fantastic examples of standard models of the marque Well done guys I am wondering what cars will be on the stand next year as I feel that the modified examples are being shunned unless they are included in the display I have just located an excellent example of a very rare wide bodied Z32 and am trying to find out who made it and who has the moulds so I can attempt to bring them over to the UK so they wopuld be readily available for the masses who once seeing them would flock to fit them What I would like to do is to ask if there is any chance a car like this could be i…

Hey all. I'm looking at trying to free up some money so i can start some work on the zed. It currently has a private plate on it. Now I've had a couple of online valuations but am all to aware that online value and real world value can hugely differ. So I'm after your opinions on it's value. The reg is FAZ 323. Obviously it contains the z32 chassis designation so may well go to another zed owner :-) Lee

What is the best wheel width and offset for a standard car? Please note I will be lowering it at some point though. I don't really want to mess about with camber arms etc I just want a decent fitment. I'm looking to go for 18" diameter but I am unsure on the rest....
