Hi

I had a nistune board fitted and tuned to my auto TT. When taking out the standard ecu we saw it had been changed at some point to a manual ecu, the tuner said it shouldn't be a problem for the gearbox as the 300 has a seperate ecu for it, is this true?

I don't seem to have any issues with abrupt changes or the like, maybe just shift points seem to take a bit longer than i would expect but as this is my first 300 and auto i don't relly know how it should feel.

Thanks

Ben

Auto boxes does have a separate ecu. Auto ecu will work on manual and auto. But not manual on auto

They're interchangeable. I'm not sure on the actual map of the chip, but they'll run just fine.

my impression is that an ENGINE control unit does not interfere with the gear system. so i would agree with Si :)
