Hiya, I am living in south London near Wimbledon and have email all the respray shops I can get on google and no one has replied - Does anyone know of one which is reputable around the London area? I am looking for a Front bumper respray from red to blue, touch up on various panels that have lacquer peel, and some wheels doing. Best regards, William.

Just wondering which would be a good budget buy for now. I dont really have a need for it for the z but for the elgrand for now. I was thinking of buying the consult ll off ebay just to read and clear codes for the elgrand but after reading a few reviews seems like its a trial version. Has anyone used the NDS ANdroid and is it any good? Considering which to get as I would like to be able to run checks myself. Nothing is coming up for conzult. Would I be able to use the free conzult with the folowing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-14-Pin-Consult-II-OBD-DDL-Mini-USB-Diagnostics-Tool-For-Nissan-Z32-1989-2000-/281595813506?hash=item41906b1e82:g:128AAOSwBahVeR5N All …

Myself and Dan (GIBSTER-TT) are attending Modfest 2016 at Orsett show ground A13 Essex on Saturday 20th Feb. We have a 4 car stand booked and would like to offer the remaining 2 spaces to any club members who would like to join us On the day. Arrival time to be confirmed nearer the date as it's a staggered entry system to allow everyone an easy entry. I would hazard a guess at 8am to 9am arrival. I suppose the easiest way to grab the spaces would be the first 2 members to firmly commit and pm me gets them. If anyone who commits cannot for any reason make it we will offer the space to the next in line ASAP. Of course any member wishing to come along …

Shouldn't really mock but some pieces of 'work' just are quite staggering, i've actually had this on the shelf for a while. This i guess is to 'make red fog light' from the stock clear reverse bulb chamber . A lot of effort if i can call it that to go to, when a red bulb can be bought :headvswal.

Hello All, New to the forum and need some advice from someone with far more knowledge than me. I am looking to move on my 300ZX as it has failed its MOT and its serious this time with lots of rot underneath. There are better examples out there so buyers go quiet and then disappear when they hear of the issues. This is not entirely a bad news story as a previous owner spent over £25,000 on custom parts and upgrades. I am guessing that these refurbed may have move value than the car as a whole. Does anyone know of a 300ZX breaker out there that I can contact? Thanks in advance.

As Pete has been giving me an ear bashing I thought I had better post a few pix of the rebuild. I did a fair bit of testing during 2015 and competed in quite a few events despite having a cracked and / or porous block. This left me low on power but I hope to have sorted out suspension and a few other issues that should help to make the car a lot faster. Looks like a lot to do still and there is however I hope to be back on the track and testing in time for the new season. I plan to do more in the way of sprinting and hill climbing but of course ten of the best remains the primary event for me. Probably do Brands Hatch in time attack in club pro. The main…

Fitted my news wheels today, thought someone might be interested! Not finished yet, got sent 4 wrong nuts so waiting on those and can't fit the rear centre caps as the half shafts stick out too far, but I was planning on getting some 5mm spacers anyway and that should solve it. Makes it look a bit scruffy at the moment but will be rectified soon hopefully. Please excuse how filthy she is, not good I know, and the pictures aren't great as I was running out of time/light 18", running 245/40 on 8.5s at the front with +20 offset and 275/35 on 9.5s at the rear with +40 offset at the moment. Do have a, err, slight problem that the fronts are rubbing at …

I'm trying to find old photos of my new zed. There's been a fair few on the forum from years gone by when PPS were doing the bodywork and from billing in 2004 but I can't actually see any of the photos. All I see is little hollow squares. Is this something that can be seen somehow, like an old database of the forum or anything? Alternative, does anyone have any pictures of the car?

I have a SWB zed that has been off the road parked in a garage since 2010, some people will remember me from back in the day. Anyway I am gonna put it back on the road for 1 last summer before I get rid around September time. But I want a Navan Shifter, I always have but haven't seen one available for ages. Anybody have one available they might wanna sell me. And if I'm breaking any rules, I'm very sorry, been a long time since I've been on here for any length of time so no idea what's allowed and not allowed these days Thanks

There has been a few interested parties that want to be apart of the NEC so I just wanted to gauge how many of you would like to take part this year. This may not be for everyone as being the classic car show we need the highest of quality as we can for the show and a few rules to go. 1.) You need to arrive more than likely pre 9AM the day before the show starts for setup. 2.) Your zed can't be removed from the stand until the late evening of the following Sunday. 3.) The hotels may be part subsidised by the club but this depending on interest and costs. (we will know after we gauge the interest). 4.) Meals need to be paid for by the individuals, ie. its n…

Alright so... I have made a panel what goes on to the centre console in the bottom or top radio hole The way I did this is... Measure the hole you are wanting to cover Get some 1.5-2mm of acrylic and cut out the shape Get some thin card or anything with a colour of your choice Glue those two together Then glue them into the preferred hole Then... once it's all dry you can start drilling into the acrylic to fit the switches I have chosen 5 switches and tried to get them in line as much as I could. Also the tip of the switch lights up when it's on the "on" position :D And there you go... took me about an hour and half and I am very happy with the outcome …

Just removed these units from below the dash, the first I know is a remote start which doesn't work and the second pic is what I believe is some sort of turbo timer but it looks more oem that an addon and I think its been in there for some time. There's no identifying marks on the casing or board. any ideas ?

I have no idea what the true mileage is on my zed. The last few mot's the mileage is the same as the odometer had jammed up and the previous mileages are in that case suspect. The engine seems completely sound although I haven't had a chance to accurately check the oil pressure or compression or anything. Here's my pedals :D completely unscientific I know but it might give me some comfort :D

Hi all I'm looking to buy an ebc, more specifically a Greddy Profec EBC. I thought I wanted the Profec B spec 2 with the plan to mount it in the factory clock position... Like so: I think this looks nice and tidy and keeps it from looking out of place.as much as possible. However, I've since seen a post online of a custom install of Greddy's newer profec Oled EBC in the switch controls: Now to me at least, this looks fantastic! So the questions I have are, a) How hard do you think this would be to replicate? And b) Who can make this for me?

Hi not sure if anyone is interested but this is my post. Just getting round to sorting the door cards out tonight bit late but who cares. So old door card Removed metal seatbelt supports. Drilled and cut rivets with wire cutters. Then I made a cardboard template luckily the rivet holes are there in new door card for positioning. Oh blade used as ruler. Left my dremel as home long way back, I will have to try with a hack saw. More to follow. Ah this will do. Point of no return.
