Hi Guys, I'm in need of some parts for the zed and have run out of money as we got our second child due any day(so the missus wont allow for any more money being spent on the other lady). Any way, i d have my beloved ZXR 750 which i could deal away for the right parts if any of you are interested. Parts i need are some performance brakes. Discs Pads Turbos. I am using my Conzult on a mates zed but i lost my full version of the software and am using the freeware stripped down version. Where can i get my mits on the full version. I can provide my Conzult SN.

Ok chaps. My zed had some re-spray work done by the previous owner and i dont think much of the job done. Yesterday, my car 'aquired' additional splash's of white paint all over body work, and trimming, from a jet wash brush @ Morrison's Petrol station in Reading.Liability aint mine, so need a recommendation on where to get a full body re-spray done proper. I live in Reading, but not to fussed on where it gets done as long as it is done professionally and looks sweet as when i get it back. I am also looking to get the rear aches cut out and replaced at the same time and the tailgate replaced as these have gone rusty in places and need changing cutting out.

Is this anyone on here ? The Black TT with the Custom Exotics/Fuel stand at Donny South Show at North Weald last Sunday ? Pic is here.......... was the only other Zed i spotted at the show (apart from mine)....

Just wondering if its normal to hear the fuel pump engage just after starting the car? I'm sure thats what the noise is but it sounds quite loud and i've never noticed it before.

So, should i worry? My intended zx starts off at 60 psi+ then tails off after a few miles. Any ideas?, or am i worried about nowt? Is been Run on fully synthetic + changed every 3k Its a 110k uk tt manual.

OK, Im seriously thinking i should probably sell these. I don't really know what they are worth though. The pictures show everything i got with them which would be included in any sale (if i do sell) They have been completely reconned by nend (im sure he will vouch for these if anyone wanted to ask him, i know he did for me before i bought them) help please Also they are Greddy TD05 16G Turbos - both perfect and not used

i took a caliper off today and cracked the brake pipe while the caliper was hanging free. What a ridiculous idea to put inflexible pipes joining the calipers which are obviously going to get flexed when the calipers are removed and then making the pipes thin iron in a ideal breading ground for rust!! Anyway can i go to a nissan dealership to get a replacement pipe? hopefully that includes the nut going into the caliper on one side and the nut going the brake lines on the other. Is it likely to be in stock at a relatively large dealer and if i have to order it in is mjp likely to have one in stock? what is the likely price for a thin bit of bent iron pipe?

Last tuesday on Scotswood Road heading towards the college about 4.40pm.

was sat at the lights with foot on brake pedel..as you do then suddenly the pedel buzzed and bounced and then the abs light came on . tried everything to turn it off but it didnt went a mile up the road parked up for ten mins started her up no light ..hasnt come on since any ideas cheers

red zed on the m6 north abour 8.30 am near peterborough... flasshed headlites but you were talking to your passenger ...

Just fitted a koyo rad and mocal oil cooler but have no idea what gearbox oil to buy, the oil in the system is currently a dark brown and the ATF fluid i have in the cupboard is red! Anyone have an idea out there? Cheers PeteH

does any 1 know how hard it is to rebuild the turbos is it a specialists job? as ive found various rebuild kits even upgrading them with 360 bearings etc for about £50 each.is it more hassel than its worth once the tubs are off the engine :rolleyes: cheers

2nd time I've spotted you .... 1st was a while back on St James Road and you flashed :) Then again this morning - Winchester Road in a white zed... you gave me the thumbs up and I waved. (about 8am) I was heading towards the roundabout for the Avenue - you were heading for the roundabout by the Somerfield garage shop thingy mabob. Own up - who are you :D

couple of quick questions, does the elctric windows have a seperate fuse for each side? and where are the situated? if in the drivers footwell which ones are they?

.....for my zed. The bodywork has been modded and the brakes are rotora slotted & drilled with Axxis composite pads....barely been on the car 500 miles. 1/2 way through manual conversion but running out of time and dont have a spare set of hands to get the box in, so just giving up on it :eek: ....I'm moving to China in around 2 1/2 weeks, wont be back for quite a long time. Cant store it at house as we are planning to sell & leaving it outside wont help...so its time for it to go. Theres plenty of bits n bobs, inc spare sets of 18" alloys with tyres, spare JDM exhausts, 2 spare autoboxes and a manual box etc etc. Conzult etc.....will put a li…

Anyone fitted these before. Got one and it looks like there should be 2 holes for bolting down. On mine there is only 1 hole, the other has a threaded stud welded into it. Being a stud you cant turn it so I dont know if its just for locating or what its for? Is this right? pic attached. Cheers

A couple of weeks ago i posted on the advice and help forum to find a specialist in Leeds to help me with my very poorly sounding Z, as it turns out sadly there is no specialist nearer than Manchester which isn't too far unless you have a none runner. Anyway, somebody suggested Andy Duff a mobile guy based in Preston, he bobbed in to my work to see the car on his way to his Chicks ('FairladyZXsommat-or-other' - her car is filthy, take some water to it girl) in Rotherham, diagnosed it (EGR valve nacked, sommat like that anyway) it was declared safe to take to Rotherham where last week he did a sterling job of sorting it out, hooked up the diagnostics and found another…
