finally found a nice twin turbo std unmolested 61k and clean inside and out and drove her home tuesday night. but a need for pampering has arisen and i need some advice from you chaps(esses) if poss. she`s got origional exhaust tails which i don`t think will clean up to my satisfaction so do i replace just the tail boxes and if so where do i get some nice looking compatable ones from i prefer the 4 ickle tailpipe look to that of a large lump each side or am i better off just getting a complete system if so again where from? secondly i do`nt like the std alloy wheels and wanna replace em a set of kei racing kreuze wheels that have caught my eye what size front and r…

ive just aquired a brand new 02 sensor for £25, now im not sure if it will work as its from a skyline (it is a genuine unused nissan part) the part number is LSH 24 0258 003 256/257 081141 12v germany is this the correct one for my zed

how much are these to buy any ideas? hoping it will solve my speedo and power steering from having a mind of its own :headvswal

Why does it seem to move (i am probably being dim), when idling it is below 4 (middle) and when accelerating it rises a little?

Can someone point out the differences for me (N/A only) between these two? Especially what the button by the Auto Box means (it says Speed (i think) and something else, it is a flip switch)? Also, the N/A, what road cars can it beat out of interest, any new ones?

New proud owner of a 1996Fairlady. Needs new rear tyres very soon. Tyre size is 225/45/17 intend to find out if a 245 would fit comfortably on the rim. the front tyres are yokohama and almost new. Was wondering what you guys thought was the best and any info you can give me.

Thinking of getting a TT 300zx... How much do these things cost to maintain say a year? What would need to be done every certain no. of miles etc? Im thinking like regular oil changes etc? Thanks.

Hey All, I have been getting the skippy/wobbley rear end when going over bumps/drains etc recently, and guessed my rear bushes of some sort were on the way out. So I got it looked at and its the subframe bushes that have split. I have read previous posts about this so know that replacing them is a big job. So I was wondering if the Whiteline subframe alignment and locking kit would solve this problem, or should I ruin my credit card and get the subframe dropped and the bushes replaced? Does anyone know roughly how many hours it will take, so that I can make an estimate on labour charges? Cheers everyone!

I have been looking at other peoples Data scan results, (my car is running rough) the only thing I can see that is different on my log is the AAC reading. My reading is very low at 12 the others I have looked at are much higher, will this cause my car to run rough?

Hi All! Got a Zed today, great price dirt cheap! I knew of the problem before I bought it but want advice. Basically wont go into 3rd gear, 1st and 2nd fine, but will not change into third. I CAN use drive but when it tries to go to third the revs go up but the car doesnt speed up. Thoughts? Thanks!

Hey people, A very very angry man here. :mad: :mad: Last night while I was away doing a night shift, some mother f***in idiots broke into my 300 and stole my DVD player and screen at home. They smashed all my back windows. What I believe happened is, they smashed the rear quarter windows first thinking they'll put their hands through and unlock the car but as the mechanisms are too far forward on our cars, they couldn't get to it, so they smashed the rear window and got in through there. Been runnning my tt auto for a couple of months and only now have i really been able to open it up, bought it as i had a broken ankle and being an auto v easy to drive!, driving with a broke limb is an art form and i was only able to plod around when very nessessary, but now my casts off and strength is improving i have been able to do some "enthusiastic driving" and im not convinced by the performance? i ran a diag got code 55 all ok, replaced plugs, which looked new any way, i cant fault it to drive, no misfires or obvious faults, the boost gauge goes up high etc, but no huge feeling of boost, more like a smooth pick up which does increase as the revs go higher but none…

Right, here comes the really annoying question all you lucky drivers are waiting for. Which Z shall i buy ?! :headvswal I used to drive a mk2 mr2 turbo, spent a shead load on her, and loved it. Had to sell my baby when i went traveling, and now im looking to buy a 300! Now, I know there are so many variations of the mr2, and im sure the same can be said for these motors aswell, Thing is, i have not one clue of the different trims/engines available. If one of you guys could lend a hand that would be cool, :bow: or point me in the right direction, as im sure this gets asked all the time.
