  2. I'm trying to put some xenon bulbs in my headlights, but it seems that it's impossible to get at the bulbs to change them. The two screws clearly have to be taken out so that the clips which hold the glass in can be taken off. Now the screw on the left may just be possible from that angle, but the one on the right has about 1 inch clearance before a large metal plate is in the way. It seems that there's no way to get this screw off without completely disassembling the car. Any suggestions?

Hi, I 've got a late 1991 UK twin turbo 300ZX which is leaking brake fluid, can anyone give me some advice how to fix this and the triple clutch fitted on feels very hard, is it normal for the pedal to be this hard? I'm trying to get this car back to how it should be, does anyone know where I can find a 300zx specialist in ESSEX? THANKS MK

I was driving down the motorway this evening, when my batery light came on and my anti- locking brake light came on. I also found it very hard to turn my steering wheel, then the car started to over heat and i lost all oil pressure. after leaving i sitting for a while i seem to have the same sytoms, but filled it back up with water to cool it down. But it dont sound to healthly when turned over, sounds very lumpy. Any ideas. Not had the car more than 3 weeks, really upset now

Bloody thing! Its nver failed to start even though I've had this running problem. Drove to work fine, 10 hours later, won't start???!!!! Fuel pump runs, and I can smell fuel as I turn it over but it won't fire. Had a quick look in the dark but all connections ok. So, would the PTU just give up like that?? Maybe thats been breaking down and causing my hessitation problem?? Thoughts please guys and girls.

Hello, everyone I have just bought a late UK 1991 twin turbo manual 300zx, I would like to know where I could find a 300zx specialist in essex. The car is leaking brake fluid and it's fitted with a heavy duty triple clutch which feels like wood  I am not sure if the clutch should be that hard, so I wanted to know if there's anyone on here who lives in the area of Basildon who can give me a hand to sort this Z out because I don't really know much about it. THANKS MK

My daughter is fast approaching the 9kg limit for her first "rear-facing" car seat and I will need to get a forward facing car seat. Having done a search and read through loads of threads on the subject, it would seem that the Britax Elite would be the one to go for. Unfortunately this has now been discontinued, so I was wondering what folks have been using as an alternative ? I went to Halfrauds today and tried a few. The modern baby seats have wide bases, which do fit over the gap in the "bucket" seat, however the problem seems to be the positioning of the seat belt buckle. It is too far forward, so when the seat is in position, it is able to pivot and is not an…

Followed both the write ups by AlFo (FAQ 3rd July 2007 17:17) for adjusting TPS and then the Base idle. TPS set to 0.46V. Then, Using the ConZult to monitor revs while adjusting the base idle switching on and off and removing the batterery in and out to get at the Base Idle Screw. However, when i put the yellow plug back and restarted her, she idled at about 600rpm and then cut out. When i restarted she's now back up to 16/1650 rpm....When i select the idle adjustment in ConZult she drops back to 900rpm .....Leaving the battery off for 30 mins to re-set the ECU, but anyone got any other thoughts???

Hi Can anyone tell me how to access the passenger turbo coolant hose. I don't really fancy doing a bypass, sounds more complicated. The only problem I've got is that there is a tare in the rubber hose right next to the jubilee clip and is leaking water pretty fast. If anyone can, could I get step by step instructions on how to do this. The easiest way the better and of course what tools I would need. I've been 2 weeks without my Z now and I'm getting some serious withdrawl symtoms. :hyper: Can't wait to get back behind the wheel again! Thanks

Jim, Just thought I'd update you, just had a look in the tank and discovered the little Tea bag type filter on the pump was tottally clogged with a brown shite!!! The stuff was hard and when it dried out just crumbled away. Cleaned it all off and wiped tank around but it is really rusty inside. I can only assume this is where it stood for 4 years with no petrol in the tank and the damp air has got in. Worth looking at before spending loads of money, its easy to get out, this would explain starvation and my noisy pump. Its a lot quiter now its not struggling but I haven't tried it on the road yet to see if its cured. It won't help anyway. Also found leak on fue…
