Hi i have a AVC-R boost controller installed with a Jwt stage 1 remap. My question is should these connectors be connected or not? See pics. They were both disconnected. What happened was the car would get to about 4000rpm on full throtle and then it would missfire pop and bang and all that when i looked under the bonnet i saw them disconnected and re connected them. Since then it has been fine but i think they are ment to be disconnected. If they should be disconnected has anybody got any ideas what could be causing the problem after 4000rpm? Here are the pics

Anyone Evre Paid A Lad In Shields For Parts And Never Got Them??? Get Back To Me

Since I got my car back from Ztech, it hasn't been boosting right. Positive boost doesn't really get going until about 4.5k revs and peaks at about 5psi (aftermarket gauge, Profec B switched off). Having spoken to other owners with T28 tubs, there is deffo something amiss :( I've only driven the car once since my leaking injector was fixed, and whilst trying to diagnose the boost issue, something metallic pinged off under the car at "full" boost (could have been something on the road but I suspect the car dropped something that was badly fitted). I got home, parked it up in my garage, locked the doors and left it there... I've booked my Zed for it's MOT tomor…

Hi Guys, Been looking at a Big brake upgrade, and as both the front and rear pads are brand new (80 miles  ) was thinking of swapping over the Calipers. what i mean is the bigger brakes come with 8 pot calipers so can i put the front 6 pot calipers in place of the rear 4 pots as a straight swap? Seams a waste not to try, i know i could sell them to the 200sx guys but if can improve the whole braking system by just swapping them over i'd rather do that. Any thoughts on this? has it already been done? can it be done? can anybody foresee any problems by doing this? cheers Neil

Thanks to Tubz to who was round on Friday to help with the final stage of engine removal. As mgh297's post, it's great there are people in the club who are willing to help fellow members. :hyper: Only thing is now it's out I've found 3 cylinders with broken valves and 1 with a broken piston

I bought these and wanted to wait till fitted before i commented, they are excellent casts and are a massive improvement on stock discs. They come in silver, gold or black. I would highly rec anyone to get these. If you do mention the 300zx club and they will prob give you a discount. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-200SX-300ZX-GROOVED-BRAKE-DISCS-MINTEX-XTREME_W0QQitemZ200145698868QQihZ010QQcategoryZ23013QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

You must be mad trying to drive round the bush then! I saw you from the Adelaide where i was having a few drinks before our glorious 3-0 away win!

Well that's about the list of things that are wrong :) However I think it's all related. Car has now started to stall when pulling up to junctions, but also when pulling away from roundabouts. When coming off a mini roundabout tonight I was accelerating gently and all of a sudden it was like I'd taken my foot off the accelerator, no revs and car started slowing. Tried pressing accelerator but nothing it was like it was disconeccted, car just slowed and stalled. Tried to restart but would just turn over, wouldn't catch. Left it for a while, and the immobilisor came on, so turned the key, plipped the fob to turn the immobilisor off and car started first time…

 just put the kids to bed, they're full of anxiety and worry. It's one of those times you can tell kids "I know exactly how you feel" and mean it. we've all been there. At least when we worry about something going to bed we can numb it with alcohol (or whatever lol)

I have had this idea, basically why don't we get a list together of willing Datascan or ConZult owners who are happy for other members to get in touch, if they are local so if someone needs some help with their car. It can be plugged in and give the owner a few ideas and if the user is confident enough carry out a few checks for the owner to help em out, might not be to everyone taste and we don't want the Datascan or ConZult owners getting the piss taken either but I'm willing to help out if I can.
