Just bought three alloys that need refurbing, got them for buttons cos there is one missing, i have done a few searches through google etc.. and emailed a couple of companies but i have not had any replies. Has anyone bought a single alloy before, where did you get it from?? Any suggestions welcome. :) Alloys are AXE AP30 i have 2x 18x8 and one 18x9.5 Piccies - All of them 18x9.5 18x8 Also what are the best tyre sizes, i'm guessing 235/40/18 and 265/35/18, is that right or i am better with different sizes, if so which ones???

Hi... I know its been covered loads before and I have used the search engine. Just need to check a few things 1st. 1) Am I right in thinking that the t-piece goes into the vaccum hose on the drivers side of the balancing bar? There appears to be 2 hoses here. Which one goes to the black box for original boost gauge, is it the top or bottom one? 2) Wheres the best place to wire the electric feed to the gauge? My mate has said to wire it into the stereo. Is there a better place? Thanks

Has any peeps here know anybody sucsessfull in claiming compensation from their local council for damaged suspension to their cars? In the space of 6 months - or less, both my rear shocks are gone, my front NS link arm is creaking like mad and just today my front OS wheel has developed a noise equal to the revolution of the wheel, noticed straight after rolling off a monster one near my home - it now feel like i have square wheels! I am totally seething with red mist now and I am 100% going to persue this even if it costs me more money to do so, any advice from anyone having been down this (bumpy) road please let me know... Thanks in advance all Pet…

With some of these big turbos spooling higher up the rev range, what would be involved in raising the redline to 8k rpm? What is it that actually limits the max rpm? is it the strength of the rods or is the limit somewhere else?

I had a remote start fitted in December, nothing special, just an ebay job. Not this only seems to work half the time and don’t know how to adjust the crank time? I think it has something to do with operating temperature, as it works 100% of the time when engine is warm or the temperature outside is high? Any thoughts?

Peeps, Ive been looking around at brake upgrades, brembos and alike, which is all well and good. But it got me thinking..... Why are zed brakes so poor? What is the design flaw in them that makes them so ineffective in comparison the zed's rivals? Now is it that they are just getting old and the calipers could do with a re-build and the brake system needs emptying and renewing? Because looking at the face value of things, they got 4 pot calipers with a reasonable size discs, and yet some how my mates legacy could outbrake my old zed and he only had 2 pots and pissy little discs! So can anyone give a technical reason into why the brake setup is soo…

Hi folks i've been holding out, but I have financial problems so my little honey has to go. http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cfm?fuseaction=car&carID=911337 I'm not advertising it here for a couple of reasons, no.1 being you guys will try and talk me out of it :D no.2 is my location , OK i'm only across the water but I am hoping i will get more for it from an Irish buyer. I know you guys are having it tough with resale prices over there, as you can see my asking price is 10.5K euro which is negotiable. I spent 3K last year alone on it. I don't intend selling it for buttons. There's a few minor things needing attention, it was my plan to take it off the…
