These seem to be getting extremely rare these days. I imagine plenty of previous owners hold onto them when they sell on their cars.

What are TT's like at mileage over 100k? I'm going to view a TT manual that is well over 100k miles so just wanted to know if I'm wasting my time or not really. I come from a VW background and generally speaking they dont really get good until nearly 100k, so mileage has never really bothered me that much, so long as car has been looked after. Its got FSH and looks good to me, but this is the first nissan I've seen with high mileage so not sure. What do you guys think?

Just recently, over the cold months, I have noticed a very slight tapping noise coming from the left hand side of the engine. Could anyone hint as to what it may be?

Easy all! Got a very strange niggling prob. When I drive between 50 to 80mph, the car sometimes has this very slight jerk as if its pulling back or missing. i.e. you have to accelarate more for it to go away and when you keep a constant speed it does it again. It also makes a slight humming noise when doing so. (Its a manual, BTW). Oh, the woes of a Zed! Hope I'm making sense!

Anyone know where I can buy new U shaped targa rubbers - the ones that run from the top of the windscreen round the roof and then back to just past the door pillar. I checked zcentre and Courtesy, but neither have them listed. Currently my zed is letting in water like bouncers let in girls in short skirts and I've just had a retrim, so before I can unsheath my baby* and expose her to the big wide world she's gotta be sealed up so she's tighter than a ducks arse. Can anyone help? * remove the car cover

Hi guys get yer brains in gear, i have a problem... a stutter has appeared whilst only on flat throttle, so i'm stumped! i'd know what to expect if it were under load, or high revving, and i got the misfire, but this only occurs at completely flat throttle, and feels worst at around the 2500 rpm mark, but still very noticeable above and below this, and in any gear. anything at all resembling an accelarating throttle, or off the gas, and she's behaving normally, it only occurs on absoloute steady flat throttle, odd huh! any clues would be greatly appreciated. cheers shrew

hi everyone. this problem started after fitting a hid kit to the z.After fitting i noticed that the idle became unstable.I noticed that the revs would rise to 1000 and then drop back to 750 every few seconds.I also noticed a clicking noise that sounded like it was behind the dash but turned out to be the aiv solenoid. The lights work great, don't know how i lived without them.Could fitting the hids affect the aiv in anyway? or could i have an unrelated problem with the aiv? any thoughts would be most helpfull. The hids came from danny at dta which i must say was an excellent service and a top bloke. many thanks trev.

Superman Z badge on the nose panel is pretty naff and the spoiler is a little high, but looks really good. Not the biggest fan of the Strosek kits but there are some nice ones out there. Never cared too much for the seemingly pointless little hole in the rear quarters. I find the Strosek kit in dark grey/black looks best as this one proves. Love the rims on it. Same as Gruntpa64 (Alan's) which is another nice example. Just a shame it's Auto. Easily sorted though. :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-300zx-3-0L-74k-Miles_W0QQitemZ180211315619QQihZ008QQcategoryZ10402QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

People are always quick to complain when sellers mess people around, I know, I've had it happen on here. But on the flip side, there are good sellers on here. (Christian) 'wnsuk' sold me a set of spacers for my car. Unfortunately, unbeknown to him, they were actually hub adaptors changing not only the offset as per spacers, but also the PCD. Now; I told him that after a trial fit they were incompatible with my wheels and are useless to me. He offered a full refund to which I received a cheque this morning, even though I haven't sent them back. He'll send a courier when he sells them on. Nice there are some good-us on here. There are many more good sellers/b…

Hi all Has anyone used this on a Zed? If yes is it straight bolt on with some wiring or is there something else that needs doing to make it work? Cheers
