I have been hunting through the many pages of E Bay and other ICE suppliers for a decent set up in my Beemer. The head unit I have eventually gone for is the Pioneer DEH-P65BT . 50w X 4 and and direct sub drive. It does everything I want including bluetooth for hands free and streaming. Plus you can change the colour to suit the interior lighting . My question is this: My obvious choice of speakers and sub (active) is Pioneer because logically they should work well together? Has anyone got any doubts about pioneer speakers and subs? I have seen so many different makes its like a nightmare trying to keep up. What would be your choice? spending on speakers and sub (ac…

Ok, i've mentioned that i'm having major traction issues with the power it's now running. I've looked at the used alloys i bought and to my surprise they are 10's on the rear which i can't believe as they are currently runnig 255's so luckly i will get a decent grip with the right tyres The fronts are 17x8jj and the rears 17x10jj which are pretty big and currently have 255's on them. Not many manufactures make tyres over 265 for a 17" and i need as much traction as possible. Toyo go upto 265/40/17 Verdestein Ultrac 275/40/17 and a cheaper option Falken FK452 275/40/17 Kumho ECSTA Sport 285/40/17 cheaper than all above. Initially i would go …

Been keeping the car under cover over winter and running once or twice a month. Cant get it to crank this time, seems to engage starter and then stops straight away, lots of clicking and alarm/immobiliser keeps kicking in. Any ideas where I should start looking, battery is fully charged and connections are good, cant say I even know where the solonoid and starter are at the moment but guess im going find out pretty soon. Is there a way I can disconnect the alarm system to rule this out, any other way I can start car it is an auto so cant jump it off. Any help much appreciated did do a forum search but couldnt find anything useful.

this happened for the first time last night. Took a LH turn from a roundabout onto a motorway slipway quite fast not too fast and there was a rumble vibration from the rear passenger side. Fine for the rest of the journey then when went back to the car and drove off the vibration was back on a left turn. It seemed to go after the car warmed up and havent touched it since. only happened when turning left and noise continued a bit after had straightened up. banging, knocking, vibration sound that was very audible and could feel a slight shake through the steering wheel i think. What is this? wheel bearing? is it a big job to change a rear wheel bearing? …
