Hi All I just replaced all the lights in the dash with blue LED, including the petrol warning light and have now noticed that the warning light is permanently on! Can I not use LED for this light? Cheers in advance Rob

So as some of you know from a couple of previous threads my black NA Nissan overfuels (Hesitates for a split second when middle to harsh accelleration is used). I know the timing is out thanks to conZult, so ill get the belt done, I also know the cats are shot, so ill get some decats to solve that. My question is about injectors (hence the title ) Would a broken or leaking injector cause my overfueling/hesitating problem? Recently it seems to have got worse but not all the time. Yesterday I drove to work and it was normal (as in normal amount of hesitating and over fueling i.e what its always been like) I drove to the petrol station during lunchtime and reversi…

Right guys, just testing the water, who here would be interested in Big Brake kits?? I've got myself 6 piston Brembo fronts with 4 piston rears including brackets, hardware etc, they fit to the 370z 355mm fronts and 350mm rears discs, I can also source these. My contact reckons a group buy of 10 sets, I can source Porsche, AMG 8 piston and other large 6 and 8 piston fronts with 4 piston rears, haven't got a price as such yet, but would probably be close to £1500-£2k, these kits direct from Brembo and the likes retail at £3-£4K would anyone here be interested if I got the ball rolling??? Fronts comparison Rear comparison Full kit On a Ze…

It's that time of year again where the Zed's insurance is up for renewal. I'm currently with ClassicLine and they'd like £322.58 to insure her for the coming year. I keep seeing people boasting about how they can insure their Zeds for £150 a year so I thought I'd give Footman James a try... For a start, they don't recognise this club as being a valid one! I'm assuming that I'd need to be a paid-up member of Z Club or something? And I couldn't get a quote from them anyway as apparently the Z32 is no longer recognised by them as being a classic and, even if it was, the modifications would stop them quoting anyway!! So who do people use? How much do you p…

Hi! I've been trying to find used z32 drive axles to my z32, but no luck yet.. Is there in UK a good parts shop where I can find used drive axles (or smartly priced new ones) to my z32 1990 NA 2+2? And the shop should be able to send them to Finland. Thanks!! Brgds Mika

Just seen this on ebay.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Twin-Turbo-SWB-manual-1996-low-mileage-Rare-see-description-/272262031885?hash=item3f6414ea0d:g:O2YAAOSwa81XRzg1

eBay link to an NA auto Advertised as a twin turbo and it looks like people are bidding accordingly. But I fear the engine bay is a little less cramped than it should be... I've taken the liberty of sending a message recommending that the seller correct the listing, but I can't imagine that's going to happen somehow.

Evening all, After having my zed back on the road for about two days, it’s now back off the road. Although this time it’s for planned maintenance. When I purchased the car I was made aware of a small oil leak from one of the valve cover gaskets. I started the process of removing the plenum yesterday, but was held up by crappy weather and an injector connector. Today I managed to get the plenum completely off and replace all four valve cover gaskets and half-moon (or half-circle) seals. Anyway, the reason for this thread is because I noticed one or two things I was unsure of when I had the plenum off. Firstly, the plenum seemed to have quite a bit o…

  11. Apparently some folks are kicking a bag of air around this evening. Last time this happened, the roads were lovely and quiet! So who's not watching people kick a bag of air around and using the empty roads as an excuse to take their Z out?

I'm half way through removing my plenum and I'm being held up by this injector connector. Anyone know where I grip/press/pull in order to get this off. It appears to be a different style to the rest of my connectors.

Hi guys, I got home from work this morning and switched off the cars ignition expecting the same beeping as normal. However I was surprised when the car just stopped running and no beeps? I know the timer was working when I got to work and when I stopped to get some shopping on the way home, but now it's not working. All the lights are on as normal but no number in the display and as I said, no timer when ignition is switched off. Anyone know why this would be happening? Where to start looking for faults etc? It seems strange that it has all the lights on but it's doing nothing... Any help much appreciated.. It's a razo timer by the way.. Cheers

Just over a month after I had the accident and my zed is finally back on the road. As it’s my daily driver and I’ve been pretty much without a car, it’s been a very long month… I was hoping I could bolt on a new wing, bonnet etc. myself, however it quickly became clear that the work required was beyond me. I left the car in Jimmer’s capable hands and yesterday evening I received a text informing me that all the work had been completed and I could collect the car today. I had hoped to get my hands on a silver bonnet, bumper and wing after coming across a breaker in Wolverhampton. 90 miles later I soon discovered that the car wasn’t in the con…

Some of you may have spotted my thread about the alloys I bought from EBay. I was basically mugged off by a seller on EBay who sold me three UK spec wheels and one import original Nissan alloys. I bought these as I wasn’t flush at the time and the wheels on my car at the moment are in bad shape, one of them is slightly buckled. During the cold snap, the tyre on the worst one actually came off the rim, thankfully I was only travelling at about 20mph. When the wheels arrived they obviously all looked the same but the tyres that came with them, which were listed as ‘road worthy’ were far from legal. During dealing with the seller about the tyres, I went and source…
