There's a pic of a Hydrodipped or painted black engine cover with a "Z" on it at a slight angle. Who did it? I'm looking to get a member her to do it for me. It was on this or another site, i honestly can't remember or find it! Help me find it so u can have mine done ASAP.

Hi guys, after while got my engine back in the zed, hooked up and went to start. Let her turn over a while to prime fuel and oil. Now went to start but she wont fire. Took coils out and checked for spark, good strong spark. Checked for fuel pressure, and it's definitely there! Did the screwdriver check on injectors and all of them are clicking away nicely which i assume means they must be operating? They are series 1 injectors from which i gather they are proone to failure though. Now, we took the plugs out and usually when cranking over so much you notice the unburnt fuel smell starting, didn't have that. Plug came out dry and no smell of fuel to them …

Hi This is pretty much as the title states, the air will not blow out of the drivers side door. If there is a common fault or if anyone knows a potential issue with this that would be appreciated. The car is a daily and i don't fancy opening a can of worms and driving to work in a mess of wires and panels Cheers Chris

If i'm honest, I never needed to know what a tap and dye set was for until I buggered up my top seat belt anchor. I bought a 40 piece kit, only to discover that the size I want is not there. Just to be sure before I order a separate piece, am I correct that I will need size M12 x 1.25 tapered? Thanks.

Hi, The radiator on my '93 JDM TT has got a fracture in it. While in the process of replacing this there are a few things i would like to know: Are the rads on the manual and auto the same? I am aware that the auto box has to be cooled but does it use a separate radiator, or is it built into one for the autos? Second, my viscous fan is broken, it is engaged all the time. Is there an easy fix with this, or is it worth removing and replacing with electric fans, or simply replacing with a new viscous coupling? Thank-you in advance Chris

My third brakelight needs two new bulbs. All the research I've done seems to strongly suggest that the bulbs in it are very specific to Nissan - something to do with the resistance in them and, if "ordinary" bulbs are used, it'll bring up the warning light. So I've just ordered three bulbs from Z Centre. Nothing else, just three small lightbulbs. £8.40 for shipping!!! Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!! :pinch:

Evening all, My brother has offered me an aftermarket steering wheel and I was just looking at how to install it in my zed. I’ve found some guides that breakdown the process of removing the existing wheel and installing a boss kit, however I was hoping someone could tell me how tight the 19mm nut needs to be. I’ve searched various sites and threads, but haven’t found the torque specs. Any other advice or information on things to watch out for is always welcome. Thanks

So, I had the young lad up in the attic today fetching down Stuart's white/silver dials, when he was up there, I got him to hand down a few sets of clocks, One set is a UK conversion with white indigo faces, they have the original black faces underneath with the KMH changed to MPH. The other set is the infamous Redbaron UK clocks with white indigo dials, these have no original faces underneath. I took a video, one of each set of clocks. Firstly, the Redbaron UK clocks follows by my MPH converted clocks... [video=youtube_share;MzLyLBvt_F0] Can I assume that the Redbaron clocks are only good for stripping for parts as the needles don't return to zero?? I w…

Spotted Croydon centre by the police station roundabout. Horrendous photos as he was driving off when I spotted. As you can't see much, it's a black Z with grey vinyl graphics/wrap on the sides, and a boomex rear spoiler with LEDs under the lower spoiler. I think there were more LEDs around the car. Any ideas from the description?

just want to say thanks to noel on mapping my zed we went from 530 to 570 on water methanol with more to go,on the very helpful advice of noel we decided not to push the car further, as further upgrades are needed with the reasons fully explained to me , he went above and beyond on my car to make sure it was taken care off and spent more time than he should have on it investigating concerns i had addressed, also thanks to mark derby aka automodz for his help in a quick fire oil change while car was on the dyno and also giving his time to also investigate my concerns. the drive home was awesome thanks very much 1 happy zedder:),i would not go anywhere else for my mapping h…

As above - does anyone have contact details for Mark Rawlings that used to trade as "The Zed Factory"? I've tried searching his name and "The Zed Factory" in the search box on here and even Google but to no avail. However, the last time I spoke to him was in 2012 so it may be that the posts I'm looking for are from too long ago! Thanks in advance, James

My original stereo has decided to stop working, so Ive decided to fit a single din radio/cd in the top slot so will have a hole down below!!:excl: I know you can get a oem cubby hole from the Z Centre for £25 but was wondering if anyone had fitted something else from another vehicle be it Nissan or otherwise, perhaps that had a flap/hinged door on the front. Im sure I recall an X-Trail having an hinged cubby hole, but cant find one now..... Nick

Since the previous thread was a bit of a mudslinging contest I would like to open a better organised discussion as it would be in my interest aswell as in the interest of many others. This will mainly be a thread for dissatisfied customers with engine failure as a result, but general (but not vague) comments would also be worthwhile. If anyone has anything to say, please include: -Who the mapper in question is... -What power you were chasing. -What the fault was that destroyed the engine. -Anything else meaningful to add (timescales etc.)
