Could someone please tell me if I can fit a radiator from an NA auto into a manual TT? Looking at the one I have bought it seems like it is wider than the gap that is there for it, saying that I haven't taken any of the metal piping out yet but just wondered if it was physically possible. I've also noticed that theres other pipes that go at the bottom and didn't know whether autos use the cooling rad to cool the auto box too?

Hi guys been on the forum a while but only just got round to buying my first Z , i have 2 Bov's that need fitting, just wondering are they easy to do yourself or would i have to take it to a garage, and how long roughly does it take an average person to do?? :D Love the new car by the way, gives me a big grin everytime i drive it.

Will be picking the car up from Pro speed exhausts tomorrow as they have finished the down pipe/ centre section and externat wastegate mount. The exhaust is 3in all the way to the middle of the car where it joins to 2 x 2 1/2in exhausts. A few pictures below, more to follow tomorrow A little confusing this one but shows the secondary manifolds with the start off the take off for the wastegate then the fat 3in section!

Hey all just thought should mention had the Z in for it's M.O.T the other day and she failed :( not to bad though i think :o This is how it reads from the M.O.T Test * offside front brake pipe excessively corroded * (all full length and rear brake pipes excessively corroded) *Parking brake lever has no reserve travel (new about this one though) +service brake efficiency below requirements’ +see note - (braking performance not tested- as pipes excessively corroded) I also got a few advisory items, but nothing major however i knew nothing of most of the work needed above and after speaking to the garage that tested the Z…

Are they the same thing or is their two seperate tests? I found one pipe that is hissing, left hand side of engine near balance bar comming off a small black cylinder shaped object and there is a slight hiss from the right hand side of engine near the balance bar but a bit deeper down, the car is booked in next friday and any pipes that need replacing will be replaced, I hope it sorts out my almost stalling issue, I have just replaced the water temp sensor.

was out working on the zed tonight changing the other tension rod, anyway somewhere along the line i have lost my set of keys. the thing that is worrying me most is that at one point one of the local no gooders stopped and borrowed a 10mm spanner for his mini moto didnt really pay attention to what he was doing was there for about 5 mins then gave me it back. meanwhile my keys were lay next to my tools. however when i cleaned up i now have no keys dont know what has happened to them, have checked my toolboxs van car house cant lay hands on them, my spare set are at the bodyshop so cant use them to lock or move it. whats my options regarding getting new ones?

I just put my 300 back together after having the plenum off to change the injectors, since putting it all back together i have disturbed somthing on the brakes. when the car is switched off there is resistance on the brake pedal, when the engine is on there is no resistance unles pressed quickly twice, but after only a couple of seconds this pressure is gone. the handbrake works, and the brake light on the dash is on! also i belive the fuse for the radio is blown, i dont know where it is though as i dont have the handbook. Francis.

Hi Guys just looking some advice on an RB engine swap ie how much, or wat work is involved? I've had a ZX TT manual and would love another but hate the v6 engine cause here in Ireland getting people to work on it is a nightmare and costs a fortune. Anybody help out thinking of buying this cause the engine is knocking. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1004427.htm

seeing as my problem last night occured (post hmmmmmmmmmmm) i have again tried to get some luck getting the keys out. I have noticed that the battery still sparks when you connect the connections so there must be power in the battery. but trying every buttopn and switch in the car returns no results.... hoping a fuse has blown but surely there are multiple fuses and i should have some form of basic functions e.g overhead lights, etc. could it be that i have blown all the fuses to have absolutely no function.... as it stands the zed is dead. is there a master fuse that distributes power to the smaller fuses? i am severly hoping so

sorry if it's a repost, but has anyone seen this yet ? http://www.topgear.com/uk/ "Six days to go until Sunday nights get good again – and here’s another exclusive Mole preview. The premise behind this film is simple – the producers sent Jeremy, Richard and James out to buy a proper sports car for less than £1,500 (1,500.00 GBP = 2,456.95 USD) and packed them off to France for a road trip. Sounds rather agreeable, but there were a couple of catches – the finish line was in the Alps and the final challenge was an Andros Trophy-style ice race. And by ‘proper sports car’ they meant rear-wheel drive – so the boys basically end up racing three k…

Well, My Zed has been off the road for the winter (under wraps) and I took it for MOT last week but it failed on a few points. Mainly the front cross member was rotten and the brake hoses had a 'build up' of corrosion. Basically I would like some advise on the possibility of replacing these parts. Firstly is it a simple case of removing old X Member and replacing with new one? (are there any technical details / drawings / photos anywhere) and secondly can I replace the steel brake hoses for braided ones, specifically these ones:- http://www.brake-lines.co.uk/hel-brake-lines-nissan-300zx-z32.html Will these replace the metal hoses from the master cylinder righ…

You all may know or not but we've been trying to get these in the states for a while now, the few of us with fiberglass experience would actually like to make molds and see if we can do some sort of a mass (or any sort of a) production of them. So if any of you know where I can get a set please email me at perryboy222@hotmail.com They don't have to be in the best of condition, and I would settle for a complete set or a partial.

just changed S1 Ptu to S2 PTU. i have relocated it to next to the fuse box behind the passengers headlight. i made sure all the temp senders do not hit the fan aswell. only problem is i am so worried about it not starting or perhaps sending a stray spark near the fuel filter that i cannot bring myself to turn the key..... wuss i know but are there any actuall dangers. and providing the S2 PTU works, should the car start first time?
