I have one for sale at the moment in the for sale section and someone has asked me if the "spec S" is suitable for the TT? and that isnt the twin solenoid "spec R" the right one for the TT. As I bought it from an advert on this very forum I assumed it was for the ZX, however I have no way of knowing asI never actually fitted it to my car. CAn some one please confirm if the spec S BC with a single solenoid is suitable for the TT Many thanks in advance

can someone help me with a boost leak test? santa my good old chum has the boost leak tester but not a compressor. can anyone help? please :0(

as we all no theese cars are a love hate kinda thing i havent moved the car for a while and as my cousin is here visiting i thought id get her going again totally abused it tbh but i loved it so much i was shaking when i got out i just want it back on the road again now but still got no money to fix her up lol oh well the day will come and no doubt about a week later when something else breaks i will hate it again haha :tongue:

Did you get your EVO calipers fitted with the 350 discs (assume they were 325mm).

Where can i purchase the stripes that are applied to the section above the stonechip ? if you know what i mean. dont say main stealer!!!

As this works using an electrical signal would you get a speed reading with a manual car being towed with ignition off? Want to check before I pull things apart.

I know the 'which tyre' thread has been done time and time again. But ive decided on the bridgestone so2 for my Z. It has them on now and i find they are amazing. But it needs new ones and cant seem to find anywhere that sells them in 235/40/18 for the front, think theres a 245 or a 225 but not the 235. So does anyone know where i can get a 235 or which would be the best alternative size? thanks danny

ok got my MOT due, main headlight (drivers side) has blown so i know i will fail on that. apart from that where is a good place to take it? Is the local Kwik fit ok for MOT? is there anything i need to look out for? i have boosts solenoids unplugged with no boost controller so worrying if a little air leak sound will cause it to fail or effect the emissions. Also regarding my car i was told i have to make sure they do not carry out something regarding emissions. If they do this "thing" i was told to avoid i will end up paying the new tax rates. can someone clear up what i should be looking for in terms of my own car (something normal cars might …

Hey guys Is anyone one here good with car electrics - specifically immobilisers and alarms? I've got all the hardware in place already but as it turns out they were wired up in a bit of a bodge manner so on getting my rebuild and a new loom they were left unconnected (i.e. wires cut out with enough length to rewire properly). Is there anyone that might be able to help me get these wired back in properly? I'm a bit nervous as having spent all that cash on the engine the car is now sitting there with just the central locking protecting it!! Would appreciate any help!! Obviously I'm looking to get this done sooner rather than later.... Thanks all Vig

As the car is a japanease import and very old there are hardly any wires so i can connect my stereo up, is there a connecter i can buy that connects to the existing zed connections and then goes to my stereo, and can i get it from a halfords shop or somewhere like that??

I have got some 5 stud wheels i want to put on my zed, i know they will fit size wise but.............the hubs on my zed are different to the ones on my last car ie: the bolts dont screw to the hub there are giant nuts which screw to the hub and hold the wheels on, im sure you all know what i mean.....................question is, is there a way of fitting my wheels, hopefully that doesnt cost a bomb!

hi peeps, small question. i know when pcv valves are knackerd it can cause oil leaks from hoses and dipstick pop out ect but when the pcv valves jam closed, is it possible for the dipstick to pop out followed by engine oil pi*sing out of the dipstick hole? thanks davie

Well, as my sig currently says, I can't seem to make my mind up :D I've booked Eliza in for an MOT this coming Friday at our local MOT only station. I wonder how I'll end up going to work later that morning, 'Happy', 'Moderately Happy' or just 'Downright Depressed!' ;) I really don't want to let her go, but this really is the last chance :cry: Anyway, chin-up :D as I know she'll fail, it just depends how badly ;)
