Well i would first like to say hello to everybody i have recently purchased a z32 twin turbo manual and have had it less than a week and today got caught speeding!!!!!!!! :oops: oh has anyone every had exceding 70mph on there ticket before? i thought they had to put your speed down? also he had me as i came onto the motor way and i pulled over as soon as i see him so he didnt have time to follow me and do the whole follow me for a mile thing and record my speed? be nice if i could get away with it!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning All Having owned a few classics in my time i've now decided it's time to acquire a 300ZX. It's bonus time at work as have got a couple of grand (which could be stretched a little) burning a hole in my bank account and need to find a nice TT, not fussed whether SWB or LWB and would prefer a manual one Have had a read through the buyers guides and am still not put off although I think that's more to do with my thinking being done by my 'petrolhead' rather than my sensible head. Any hints, tips, advice, cars that may be coming up for sale? Is it best to buy an unmolested original one or one that's had a few sensible mods already completed? …

Hello everyone ive spent soooooo much money on my 1991 non turbo its a real beaut but the gearbox has gone an id like to purchase a good working order one. problem is it drives in 1 and 2 but when i put it into D it just revs, the dip stick is brown and smells burnt??:

Well I just got home to Swindon after a round trip to Essex to buy my 1st Zed. Even the driving rain didnt wipe the smile of my face! Wanted one since a gunmetal grey over took my mate way back when I was a teen. Maybe its my mid life crisis, but I dont give a damn, she rocks! Funnilly enough its gun metal, N/A auto, 1990. She's seen some life so needs some TLC but thats what I wanted. Roll on the summer, cant wait ta get the t tops off and rip some tarmac :cool3:

Hey all. I'm not a Z owner (own a 200sx), but a fan of the cars nonetheless, and pretty much anything automotive. Just moved to the UK a few months back, so not familiar with much of anything but hope to run into some of you guys at meets or on the road.

I registered yesterday and thought I'd say 'Hi' to everyone. I own a N/A 300zx Fairlady auto import which I purchased from 'ebay' last May. Always wanted to own a 300 since I was about twelve (that wasn't yesterday, ha!). There's just something about the shape that does it for me, I suppose I'm a bit of a purist and not really taken with the various bodykits available but, hey, each to their own. My car has been SORNd since November 2010 but a few things being done and I'll be back on the road this week. Nice to have the opportunity to reach out to fellow owners. Regards PS I live in Greenock, SW Scotland, don't see that many Zs about.

possibly picking up a Twin Turbo at weekend its an auto on a k reg what are the things i need to look out for? what are common problems how much slower is auto compared to manual

Hi Guys, I am looking to buy a 300zx in the near future, however ill have be honest not sure if i am making the right decision however I have totally fallen in love with the 300zx. Hopefully you can guys can give me hand in this regards, so far i have owned a couple of cars but never owned a performance car. I been reading the forums a lot and i can see that everyone here is awesome and super helpful. Hi again, Wanted to find out - i got imported Zx from Japan (1994). It's stock, nothing's modified, etc. What would you change in order to get it more responsive etc? I only mean engine-performance wise. Maybe you could list few things to change immediately.. :)
