Hi Guys/Gals The time has come to own a 300zx, I'm only on my third car, having owned a nissan 100nx, a standard Mr2 Mk1 and currently my rather fun Woodsport converted Mr2 Mk1 2 litre turbo. Currently I'm selling my MR2 MK1 2 litre turbo due to a few reasons mainly due to me not wanting to use it as a daily driver because it deserves better than to suffer our winters and quite fancy an extra 2 seats and also go back to a targa after missing one since having the mighty 100nx! I'm new to the forum as I only joined up a few weeks ago when I started to search for a 300zx. ( I currently have 2 x z31's in restoration. Finally got a car at auction yesterday! It's a 2000 reg GZ32 version R with ~120,000km on it. Needs some very slight tidying but looks like a solid zed. Wasn't really after an NA or anything in red, but I couldn't say no to this car! Hi Folks I'm new to this and a long time Z fan. However my personal Z gremlin has struck again. 10 years ago I went to buy did the deal shook hands on a cracking TT. To be fair I did screw him down a bit! He then got a significantly higher offer, he was decent and offered to pay any out of pocket costs. Hello; i am a new owner of a well lets put some what unique 300z. purchased last light. i am an avid tinkerer. i have a had a few jap performance cars, skyline's, subaru's, sx's and many more. Hi all, Not totally new on here but haven't contributed much. Done a lot of looking in tho. I did a load of research and bought what I thought was a good one a couple of years ago. Although it had a dodgy Irish provenance, I went all over it (and under it - in the snow!) before buying. It looked pretty good, but a year later it failed on rotten sills and rear arches. For a number of reasons I haven't got round to having that repaired properly (got it patched up for MOT) and am now looking for another car instead (later model). Hi all its a few years since I have been on here - managed to lose all my log in details etc... Anyway still have a 1992 twin turbo red 300zx which is is great fun to drive. A couple of years ago I had a fair bit of work done by Jeff at Zed World which was all good and was trying to contact him again but he seems to have shut the business ? Is that correct or have I just not found the correct link ? It if is shut can anyone suggest someone who they trust to work on their Zed in the South East at a fair price. Thanks

Hi Guys Just been and looked at a SWB manual TT import. Car is solid, low mileage, runs and drives well with pretty much no rust anywhere. The only problem is the HPI check comes back clean apart from saying it is a 2+2 Am I being too suspicious here or is this a cock up in registering the car when it was imported. As always any thoughts and comments are welcome. Cheers

Hi all thought id just say hello. This is actually my second fairlady as i had one a few years buck but unlike my old one this is a 1995 import, twin turbo manual. Seems to be well looked after and in good condition but fairly standard just now. It currently has a cat-back HKS system, Apexi induction kit and apparently different turbos. However im not sure which turbos as of yet. I will be fitting the down pipes that i have shortly and then will be looking into getting the ECU sorted out for running more boost. I have had the ECU out and see it is totaly standard with no socket. Can someone point me in the right direction as to where i can obtain the required …

Hey all! I'm new to the forum and the Z world in general, after having only just bought one last month. I've wanted one for a long time now and finally managed to get my hands on a 1990 TT AT Fairlady import. I wanted a little bit of a project car so the AT will one day be coming out when the money is good and the knowledge base is there, and replacing with the 5sp. I'm keen to restore the car to the Fairlady standard rather than modify it too heavily, and any help in the coming months/years......decades would be most appreciated! Hi all...just joined the forum....as I think I am hankering after a 300zx!....I have spent ages trying to decide if I liked the looks or not...and to be honest, its pretty stunning...doesn't look dated either...and I love that 80's back end!....only problem now is I already have 3 toys...and no spare room....I have an XJ-S, a 944 S2 and an E30 325I Sport...I might be persuaded to lose one ( or even 2) in order to gain a ZX!...But, for now, I am just going to educate myself a bit more on the cars.....as I am torn between SWB V LWB, auto V manual, standard body V modified....but I think I MUST have a twin turbo...:)

Hi All, Just thought I'd say hi! Got my 1st 300zx tt (auto) about 4 weeks ago now, really love it as it has been a dream car since I first saw one when I was 10 years old lol! The car is beautiful and it turn so many heads. It has however a couple of issues I wondered if anyone can help with: When the weather is dry, the car runs perfect.... when it is damp, tbh its awful! When its damp, it idles at around 1500rpm and changes gears randomly and irratically. I have completed the auto diagnostic check which I found online and it came up with the throttle position sensor. Only issue I've got is I can't find a garage willing to work on the car in the local…

Hi guys, always loved the 300zx and decided to purchase a 1986 2+2 n/a. Needs body work doing, had it a month now and loving every minute i'm working on her. I have just bought a new boot lid as someone had put a spoiler on it and not fitted it correctly and leaked and rotted the lid and metal were boot stops go. Engine is stock put running great still going to service her. Any upgrades would be welcomed if improves the car any advice. Also I have the original oem alloys on but struggling to find tyres 210/60/390. Any owners from the north east I am in sunderland. Andrew
