Section for all forum newcomers to say Hi and introduce themselves.

Due to family bereavement, we've inherited a 300zx. We don't want to keep it ourselves, but we are keen that it goes to someone who will make the most of it's potential. The car passed its MOT and runs well. It's a 1993 automatic with about 95,000 miles on the clock. Is this the best place to sell it? (If so - it looks like I need to subscribe to the forum ... how do I do that?) Many thanks - any advice will be appreciated.

  2. Hi all, although I have been signed up for a few years, looking and gaining a little knowledge I have now taken the plunge and bought my first Zed. I was lucky enough to get Dan's SWB pearl white TT. Unluckily it has a few issues which I am sorting...was running on 5 cylinders by the time I got home, faulty coil but sorted, Heater not working and only blows on the windscreen and it needs a Cam belt which I have heard is a huge job. Other than this I cannot believe the attention it gets and cannot believe it does not look 27 years old. I'm truly in love! Ill be on here a lot I am sure. Peace out, Steve PS thank you all who helped me recently with some good adv…

Hey guys! I have owned my Z for coming up to 7 years now, it's a 1991 N/A swb. I was originally looking for a TT but J828 JNP popped up on ebay and I had to place a bid! It's also a manual so everything I wanted (apart from turbos) but I'm still happy with it. Zed's mostly stock, appart from a powerflow system (so quite loud, but nice) straight from the manifolds, and a piper cross air filter. Oh I have also painted the stock wheels in black to match the bodywork. I work staggard shifts and I'm currently studying for the next year at college, so it may take some time for me to reply. I'm keen to learn about these cars though so prepare to answer some question…

Hi all! First post on the forum! Just been browsing and it seems to a wealth of knowledge and know how. I have just bought a 1992 300ZX Turbo Automatic 86,000 miles which I will be collecting on Friday, I'm hoping to use the car for work for a few weeks ( a steady 15 min dual carriageway run twice a day) until the frosts and gritting start the put her away for the winter. It seems a solid car, good amounts of paperwork, plenty of MOT, smooth engine and gearbox and very minimal bodywork rust (might change when I get it up on a lift and get a good look under the chassis! Haha). I'm fairly good with spanners and have access to plenty of tools, my father is an ex mechan…

Whats goin on! Just bought myself a Z32 ? Literally today lol, went to view her today and i'll be picking her up next week. She is a 1993 Non-Turbo, Manual, Import. It's got a Stainless Cat-back, BC racing Coilovers and K&N Panel filter other than that its completely stock. Had the brake lines re-done and the Calipers Rebuilt aswell as a Hicas delete. I've been saving for a good 6-7 months for the car so im excited to actually start spending money on her rather than just putting it aside. Excited to start sharing my build with you guys and too see your cars aswell. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

  9. Mex and I had an E36! You guys might have seen it or remember it, depending how long you have been around. The Homie Kielan shot it 5 years ago.. :alright http://www.stanceworks.com/2012/08/an-afternoon-in-london-shooting-sergios-bmw-e36-m3/ That car I bought stock in mid 2010 and kept all the way through to late 2012, it was featured in PBMW before they ideally wanted "Stanced" cars on there and overall was one that I loved, but I fell out of love with cars a little, sold up, got engaged/married, and then slowly my balls tingled for cars again. 2013 I bought a mk2 golf gti, modified it in a week and then got bored of it, all in i had it 4 …

Hi everybody Greetings from Slovakia I'm kind of a Nissan fan, this is my list of cars First I had a 2006 Nissan 350Z up to 2014 After I got this 2012 Nissan 370Z roadster And finally a 1990 Nissan 300ZX TT The previous owner had it for 14 years, and it was not used at all. Slowly I started to put it all together, I took out the negine and changed everything what had to be changed. During this winter it will get new paint, new discs, and more. I hope that you can help me if I have some questions, or if I would need some parts. For me it's better to order it from UK than USA, as I don t have to pay tax.

Hi All, Joining the 300zx owners club only because I had it as a poster on my wall in my teens :D I'm a tinker and love to fix things in cars myself. I've had projects in the past where I've bought cars that were about to be sold for parts or scrapped and I've fixed them up (E30 BMWs and VWs mainly). I've currently got a BMW 645Ci convertible as my weekend car that I do most of the work on myself (engine work, suspension/brakes, electrical etc). It's pretty easy to work on BMWs as there are so many online resources available. Also got a 4 series as a daily driver but there's no tinkering on that one :) The 300zx I've picked up is a project car. - The b…

After some years of having Yowser always raving about Z's, I decided to get one and see what he was on about. Some of the regulars here might recognise it... I plan to start a progress thread soon, but i thought it was probably time to say hi seeing as I've had it nearly three weeks.

Hello all!!! I am new to the Z world, and have only had my z32 for about a year now. I plan on pulling the motor soon and desperately looking for a good body restoration shop. If anyone knows a good place, please let me know.

HI Everyone Several years ago I owned a Mitsubishi GTO TT import model, had fun, then issues and had to part company. Recently started looking for another as change of circumstances meant I could get a weekend toy as I have a company car and a Lexus IS200 sport for daily drives. Whilst looking I was keeping an eye out for a 300zx as well, always loved the shape. Anyway a 300zx came up close to me and cut a long story she's now mine, 91 Import TT 2+2. Very tidy outside, interior needs some love but with it only being a weekend car that's not going to be a problem. So thought I'd join up as I was on GTO forums, always helpful guys and a nice community so hop…

Just joined the club today and not quite sure what I am doing! Is there anybody out there? I have a 300zx twin turbo 91 model and I'm looking for a replacement passenger side wing mirror. Some idiot decided to kick at it one night. The casing on the outside seems fine but the mechanism on the inside is broke. Can anyone suggest where I can get a replacement mirror from or has one to sell ?? Cheers Dave

Hello every one My name is Peter and have been a member of the zx club uk for some years. I’m also from across the channel (Holland) from a small town called Monnickendam about 7 miles south of Amsterdam where I was born. I’m the owner of a black 1992 TT 2+2. The car belonged to my older brother who drove it for some years but as many cars it started to rust and fall apart. So the decision was made to do a small restauration. During the disassembly my brother unfortunately got sick and after a short sick bed he passed away. The ZX or wat was left of it was put in a storage for a few years. As the car had no value in the state that it was my family a…

Can't see when I last logged in, but must be the best part of 10 years ago... so many thanks to the Admin for not deleting me!!! And which is also why I thought I might as well post in the newbies section... I quite often think back to the times I had my old, slightly ropy if I'm honest, Zed- with fond memories! And naturally this forum was very much part of it all  :slap: So- don't mind me, I'm just having a rummage around for old times sake! Good to see some old names are still around- fair play to you for keeping these great machines going. I don't see many round here any more, but if I do I'll try to remember to give you a flash and a wave! …

  25. Hello, i'm Chris. I have bought a Z 1993 import TT Targa. It has loads of mods and a dyno printout at 353 BHP. It has a big sound system that i am going to remove. The interior has been cut and sliced and all that crud, so i will be sourcing new parts soon... Is there a for sale section on this forum? It has traction control, i'm presuming it uses the ABS for this? It also has some sort of Turbo Actuator control box, i could do with reading up on that.
