Hi all, although I have been signed up for a few years, looking and gaining a little knowledge I have now taken the plunge and bought my first Zed. I was lucky enough to get Dan's SWB pearl white TT. Unluckily it has a few issues which I am sorting...was running on 5 cylinders by the time I got home, faulty coil but sorted, Heater not working and only blows on the windscreen and it needs a Cam belt which I have heard is a huge job. Other than this I cannot believe the attention it gets and cannot believe it does not look 27 years old. I'm truly in love! Ill be on here a lot I am sure. Peace out, Steve

PS thank you all who helped me recently with some good advice when I posted a wanted thread.

Nice to hear you got it in the end and are happy with it.

The cam-belt really isn't a huge job if you know what you're doing, but still takes a while. Fixing the heater seems like the big job to me, its probably one of the flaps stuck, or loose connection or bad heater control unit, but all of which kind of require the dash to be removed. Someone might know a fix but to me getting the central climate blower box out is a huge PITA.

Look forward for any updates and let us know if you need any advice with doing anything.

So it was, lucky gal. Love the image of the pair together. Maybe you can answer me a quickie....when you owned it ( i'am assuming you were the owner before Dan ) did you get the Cam belt changed? Cheers dude.

Glad you've got one now, Steve :thumbup1:

Saved me from having to offer mine up for sale!

Thank you for the SWB welcome... I reckon I made the right decision with the SWB when I look at it on the drive....so compact and supercar like. Loving the style. Have not seen another one on the road for years. So excited to have one. The extra doesn't bother me, its what makes owning a 2nd car like this so fun...until the money runs out of course!!!
