  1. Didn't get the clutch master done today (both lifts in use). So I decided as it was dry today that I'd work outside the garage, Fitted my UK spec clocks and my Momo Race steering wheel:thumbup:
  2. So my Clutch Master Cylinder arrived, hopefully getting it fitted over the coming days:thumbup:
  3. Hi guys, just re-subbed for another year:punk:
  4. Happy Birthday Andy, have a great day mate:happybday:
  5. Welcome to the Club Steve, that's a fine looking Z, you have there. Think I'm going to purchase a CO2 extinguisher for my one after seeing that and Anthony D's fried wiring.
  6. Ah mate, don't go over this Rolandas, look at the crap I've had on buying bits on here, it's not the end of the world mate, I lost out on a Selin that Mondo had told me about, I just shrugged my shoulders and said "maybe next time" and within a month I'd found another one for sale:thumbup1: (cheers Baz). I know you get your "hopes up" and it is annoying when it doesn't go your way, but that is the way of the world, you win some and you lose some. You're a great guy on here with a fantastic car, don't leave over this hiccup.
  7. Looks really well :thumbup1: this is what I was thinking of doing, want to have it driving first though:yes:
  8. Just seen these on Fbook, don't know if they're photoshopped or not but either way I think they look pretty cool:thumbup:
  9. Finally placed my order with CZP for the remaining parts required to build my car to the way I want it:thumbup: Flat broke again  Now to start saving for the bodywork side of things:scared: Hopefully have my rear bumper and subframe in the coming week also:thumbup: Clutch Master cylinder should be here today or tomorrow and I've located a centre section for the exhaust, hoping to have that by next week, so fingers crossed she will be finished mechanically by the week after:punk:
  10. Best wishes on your birthday mate, have a great day:thumbup1:
  11. Ok, anyone else in Ireland want anything from CZP as I'm about to make final payment, I'll wait for the next two hours (till 10.30) before I finish placing my order, if you need something just shout and I'll add it (subject to PayPal etc) Can't be fairer than that:thumbup1:
  12. Thanks Jeff, but they want a minimum of $92 - $125 to post it:eek::shock::eek: I saw somewhere that you recommended switching to a NA clutch pedal and master cylinder? Is this still the case?? As above do I just unbolt the master cylinder from the car or do I have to disconnect anything else? Do you recommend rebuilding or are these Herth+Buss Jakoparts Master cylinders sufficient? http://www.mister-auto.ie/en/clutch-master-cylinder/herth-buss-jakoparts-j2501044_g234_a055J2501044.html Thanks for you help Richie
  13. Thanks Steve, is the master cylinder connected to anything inside the car that I'd have to disconnect? Do you think it might be that we are bleeding it wrong??
  14. Hi guys, having trouble with the clutch, I've replaced the slave cylinder but have gotten nowhere, the clutch pedal is up but is extremely soft with no real pressure / resistance, thinking of replacing the clutch master cylinder now. I've done a few searches regarding bleeding / replacing clutch system but I can't seem to find an actual master cylinder removal? Do I just empty the reservoir and then unbolt it, I don't have the top bleed valve on my car but have the braided line from the master to the slave, Is there a different way to bleed this setup? should I try bleeding it again or just bite the bullet and give Nissan ireland €120+Vat for a new master cylinder? The mechanic has bled the system using a compressor?? is this right or do we need to do this a different way? Thanks in advance guys:thumbup1: Rich
  15. I used Nitromors on my Abflug:thumbup1:
  16. I'm going to be placing an order with Concept Z in the coming days, If any Irish members are after a few bits from them we could split shipping costs. I know Jay (Dutchgold) and Ciaranz are looking for bits, so give me a shout asap and we might be able to organise something:thumbup: Rich

  21. Ha! I wasn't far off was I? In fact I was thinking 99 spec lip spoiler but mine came boomerang shaped, so put me off a bit:biggrin:
