  1. Fair play to you mate for having the enthusiasm to take on this mammoth task:thumbup1: It's great to see this kind of dedication for the Z32:thumbup:
  2. :happybday: Happy birthday Trish, I hope you have a great day
  3. Nice one buddy:thumbup:
  4. Thanks for the info Andrew, I'll see if the new mechanic can cross these off the " things to do" list:thumbup1:
  5. I was kind of hoping that it's like this due to no back pressure from having no exhaust from the down pipes back Joel?? It was belching out some pretty dark smoke from the turbo elbows?? My brother reckons I should trailer it down to West Coast Performance in Kerry for a rolling road tune up/remap, that's where he got his R34 mapped and dynoed.
  6. Ah Greg, now you know this is no good without any pics:tt2::thumbup:
  7. Today, I've gotten more grazed knuckles but more importantly....... I've changed the clutch master cylinder all on my own and .... She drives!! Switched out the Maf and put on one of the Apexi filters and she still coughed and spluttered a bit, so switched the ECU's back and she was holding at 800rpms until she got warm and then she popped and banged and stalled, exhaust will hopefully be finished mid week and we'll see how she fairs then:thumbup:
  8. RIP Mandy, gone but not forgotten, you were such a lively character, always cheerful and never let anything get you down, You're sadly missed:yes:
  9. Nice one Rob:thumbup1: .Can't wait to get my decats to hook my one up properly:drool:
  10. She was idling (roughly) with the MAF and filter removed Rob, so I'm thinking that it's definitely the problem mate:thumbup1: Just waiting on my Selin intake and test / down pipes and I'll hook the whole lot up, CZP tell me 2-3 weeks:thumbup1:
  11. Most definitely mate, don't EVER want to have to pull the headlights again (although, should be easier now I've slotted the inside bolts)
  12. OK, Concept Z has informed me that it'll be at least two weeks for my bits to arrive at their place, so you have two weeks people if anyone wants something thrown in the box??
  13. :happybday: Happy birthday buddy, Hope you have a great day and get some nice Z prezzies:thumbup:
  14. I think they can be bonded on and flush fitted also, it depends on what look you want to go for.
  15. Yeah, thanks buddy, I'd seen that on a link on here:thumbup1:, Going to the shed to do it this evening:yes:
  16. Had a go at removing the Headlights today, fortunately for me I started at the passenger side (which is a major PITA!!!) but everything after that inside left bolt was a walk in the park compared to it:biggrin: Grazed knuckles later and I've deleted the airbox pipes and am ready to fit the 99 Spec's. Still can't get over how clean this car is compared to others I've seen:thumbup: Took the MAF off as well as the Induction kit while removing the lights, so I said I'd give her a run to see if she idled better. Quick vid [video=youtube_share;XVSu1AoqoX8] I also remembered to get a pic of the Momo fitted
  17. Ah shit forgot to post pics, sorry Si
  18. Hi guys, busy taking out the headlights and want to know what's these plastic pipes for ? and can I get rid of them, as they don't look like they're doing much??
  19. I've two spare mate One for each intake and the original, so three in total:thumbup: What cleaner should I get???
  20. I have 2 other MAF's that came with the Selin Kit, I'll switch it out with one of them:thumbup1:
  21. Thanks Rob, I was just thinking this morning, would the MAF be causing it to idle roughly if it was damaged??? I sucked up a fair bit of water that time, could / would that damage the MAF?? I might switch it out today and see if there's any difference:thumbup1:
  22. There's no exhaust from the downpipes back and I've switched ECU's for the 550 injectors, will need a remap when everything is fitted:thumbup1:
  23. Have a vid if I can get it to work... Forgot to get a decent pic of the Momo:oops: [video=youtube_share;LfK0cYO04y0]
  24. No worries guys, sure where else would I get the info, help, advice, assistance and friendly banter from!!:tt2::thumbup:
