  1. Greddy Intercoolers fitted, bumper removed for painting, €150 doesn't seem a bad price:thumbup1:, that will be painted next week:thumbup1: Clutch slave is done but the pedal is up but there was no fluid coming out when we tried to bleed it:confused1:, the exhaust is messy, my guy looked at it and reckons the easiest thing to do is fit a flexi pipe to the down pipes, ordered two 2.5" flexi sections, that's going to be done next Tuesday:thumbup1: HKS induction kit refitted while I wait on my new hoses for the dual intake, I still have the ECU to fit, is this just a straightforward plug and play swap??
  2. Organised to have the car lift all day tomorrow, Big thanks to Ian (Ernie), he's said that if I can do as much of the work myself, it's free of charge and he'll only charge me for stuff that he physically does himself:thumbup1:, I've organised a welder to be there tomorrow for the exhaust work. I'm hoping my brother can come over to help remove the front bumper and fit the intercoolers, ecu and fan shroud:thumbup1:
  3. When you getting them fitted?? I expect pics as soon as they're on:thumbup1:
  4. They are going to look EPIC on your shortie pal, they're like a modern take on the Azev's (concave compared to dished) I like them:thumbup: You get the two thumbs up from me:thumbup:
  5. Powertrix are making rear over fenders now:thumbup1:
  6. So today (Sunday) I completed a 400km round trip to collect my wheels and tyres, hopefully will have the clutch slave, exhaust, wheels, ECU and Intercoolers fitted by the end of the week:thumbup1: Also ordered some 130 degree 2.5"-2" reducing elbows for the Selin kit, made an offer of $36 AUS (€24) for a pair of 4ply ones that look capable, delivered to the door, will be here by March 7th, I'll let you know how they work out:thumbup:
  7. Work Meisters S1 wheels as stated numerous times:tt2: Not cheap, I know but look fantastic on a Zed They can be gotten 2nd hand:whistling:
  8. My guys friend imports the JR (Japan Racing) wheels, I'll pm you some super secret details and you can take it from there:thumbup:
  9. I like this convertible, he's done some job of hiding the engine
  10. Especially interior pics, don't think you have many up on here, Love your seats and would love to see more pics:thumbup:
  11. Drop me a PM or give me a shout on Messenger and we'll have a chat, we'll get ya sorted either way:thumbup:
  12. Don't be like that buddy, look at all the shit I've gone through and am still going through, as stated, I can bang a few quid off a decent set for you:thumbup1: I'll be talking to my friend either later this weekend or definitely next week at the latest, He gets discounts as he refurbs all the 2nd hand ones that are straight from Japan, I think a nice set of Works 3 piece would finish your car off nicely:thumbup:
  13. Understated elegance is what that interior is matey:thumbup1:
  14. That's a joke, privatising such an important role, what you'll get will be costs and balances weighing up whether the private shower will even fuel up a chopper for an emergency, they'll sit in their office doing risk / cost assessments and more than likely cause deaths with their indecisiveness. Or the other alternative is they'll be out night and day on needless runs burning up tax payers contributions and will cost more money than the RAF services. Rest assured, somebody got a nice little backhander for this stupid shortsighted decision!
  15. Sorry to hear this mate, keep the chin up, if you want I can ask my guy to keep an eye out for a decent 2nd hand set of hi spec wheels? He comes across the likes of Work SP's, Veilsides, Equippes, Varstoein, Ray's etc. He'd hold them for me with a deposit, hell, that's how I paid for my refurb.:thumbup1: I'd be willing to chip away at them for ya till you were flush:thumbup1: or I can see if he'd tidy up my 19's which you can have cheap, you've done me a turn or two so I'm willing to return the favour:thumbup1: Just food for thought, don't let it get you down. Rich
  16. Sold my L200 Monster truck today, so I'll have a few quid to have her running in the next month or so:punk: Took in a 00 Nissan Patrol as a trade in, this will do me for tipping around in until I sell that also.
  17. Thanks guys, I'm well chuffed to see the final finished product, BIG THANKS to Brendan at Team Chihuahua for doing them for me:bow::bow: The guy is truly talented:thumbup: On another note, finally managed to get the car out from the garage, bit disappointed when I found half the hoses I bought just lying in a box, sorry to have to say this but I'm finished with them, gone is the craftmanship and dedication, to be replaced with a "fast buck" attitude. Gone also is my friendship that I thought I had (thats' what happens when you let your girlfriend run the show, I suppose). Not worth the stress giving out to them about it, but I paid €2.2k (up from the agreed €1500) to have the engine fitted and that's all I got, the new place is going to install the fan shroud, replace all the old brittle vacuum pipes, fit the intercoolers, chipped 555's ECU and let the fabricator in to do the exhaust, stuff that I thought would have been done for the exorbitant price. Anyway, onwards and upwards:innocent::whistling:
  18. Just this minute been told that the wheels are fully finished and the tyres are fitted:hyper::hyper::dance:
  19. You lucky, lucky B, what I wouldn't give to be heading out to the sunshine to tear about on the bike:biggrin: - - - Updated - - - Stay safe and keep her between the ditches:thumbup1:
  20. They are savage looking mate, can't wait to see this build thread:thumbup:
  21. Niiiice Dan, you've got some nice bits there mate:thumbup1:
  22. Bring the missus, leave the kids at home:whistling::yes:
  23. I'd love to bring the car over to Jimmer, my plan is to get the car driving and bring it over to Jimmer for a thorough inspection and then up to Noz for a remap:thumbup1: I'll get there some day, my other idea is to ship my spare engine over to him for a fully forged rebuild and then drive the car over to him and get him to swap out the engines, I'd then leave him the old running engine as part payment:innocent:, At least that's the way I'm playing it out in my head:biggrin:
