  1. Yeah, as stated above it's hard trying to get all the pieces to fall into place in the right order:whistling: Think I'm getting there though, engine first, followed by exhaust, wheels, bumpers/exterior, brakes and finally interior:innocent: See the way I look after you:tt2:, No panic yet Si:thumbup:
  2. Thanks guys, Zed Mojo is well and truly back, trying to organise things to fall into place is the hard bit, 550 injectors fitted today, Wheels are being polished today, short the centre cap locking bolts, so getting those 12 next Saturday, 3" and 2.5" exhaust gaskets ordered today, should be here for Monday along with Baz's accordion pipe and Carbon fog light ducts, getting Stainless steel high tensile nuts and bolts with spring and regular washers for the exhaust system tomorrow, Cambelt change tomorrow, Wheels:hyper:
  3. Plenum back on and Crank pulley removed to put the lightweight ones on Plenum bypass and EGR delete completed:thumbup:
  4. Both the wheels and brakes will be available to buy in the next few weeks:thumbup1:
  5. The other thing they had to show me... Just to let you know, that's water out the old engine that's on the floor:scared::thumbdown: Got back home and these were waiting for me:clap: Big thanks to Dave (Carmad) for not only sorting out my 99 spec front splitter, but I had also mentioned about maybe needing door fillers for when I ordered my Kaminari skirts, he threw them in as a bonus!! So "Cheers Dave" You are a true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with as always.
  6. Took a spin up to the Nissan garage today, they were having trouble finding the part no. for the coolant sensor (gauge), my one was a little wobbly on top, I found the part no. on Google... €50:scared:, I noticed a link under the part no. regarding using a punch to tighten up the connector, went home and gave it a go, just saved myself €50:biggrin: Called up to the car, as I didn't want to lose the sensor and was met with the following sights.. The lads pushed the car out and power washed it and the engine bay, I think Gaz must have been onto them:thumbup:
  7. Thanks Joel, it's good to know these things before everything is back together:thumbup1:
  8. I received an email from them last night Lee:thumbup1:
  9. Hi guys, just said I'd let everyone know, Stillen is doing 15% off all Polyeurathane styling parts:thumbup1:
  10. Thanks for the "Heads up" Joel, they're the ones that can be seen in the pics??
  11. Ha!!! Don't hold back mate, let it all out:thumbup1:
  12. Big thanks to Baz, who has sorted me out with a replacement accordion pipe:thumbup:
  13. Engines out, all the bits are gathered together, most parts had only been sorted before the engine got flooded, only problem is a split accordion pipe, a water temp sensor, gaskets and bolts to be sourced for the exhaust system Greddy Intercoolers and rebuilt manual turbos with 360 degree bearings plus 2.5" downpipes Didn't realise I had updated poly engine mounts:thumbup:
  14. You pretty much know where everything is for sale mate:biggrin:, Don't forget me if you know where you can get some JWT530's!!
  15. It's wrecking everyone's head about how clean it is!! I'm more concerned about if it'll ever drive again!!:scared::D, You have to push it up a slope to get it to the wash bay, I'd say the two lads were happy to let it roll down the slope to the lift:thumbup:
  16. CENSORED, tut, tut, Si! Not like you to have spelling mistakes:nono::tongue: - - - Updated - - - Think we should make this Club.... Over 18's:laugh::lol:
  17. Had to be pushed but!! I've been reliably informed that it freewheeled very smoothly:thumbup:
  18. So, today I pulled out the Selin Dual Maf translator and two Apexi intakes, said I'd take a spin up to the garage... Big shout out to Brian Cooney of BC Motors  Funnily enough he kept asking me if I had anyone else who would be interested in doing it:biggrin: Still don't know if he was messing or serious :whistling: On a good note, no rust on the bodywork, good clean and dry underneath with a small bit of surface rust on the exhausts and subframe, both of which are getting stripped out:thumbup1:
  19. I've always liked that photo, love the contrasting interior against the black:punk:
  20. Fingers crossed, my Z alarm has been dead for 6 years, so I'll be hoping for a similar outcome:scared::biggrin:
  21. Have a look on the actual alarm unit under the bonnet, grab the model no. off it and get a user manual online, I know with the OEM alarms in the Saab, Outlander and L200, it was a quick battery change and all was ok. Should be the same for you. I think that the fob is programmed to the alarm and the battery is just a power source, ie. the fob will always put out the correct frequency for that alarm??
  22. The best thing to do is to get your model no. and Google it Dave, you should be able to find an online manual which will give you all the info you need. Most alarms do have a memory function for changing batteries but I'm not telling you to do it just in case. the other alternative is to find your nearest alarm installer and ask them. personally, I'd research online using the model / serial no. and then you can organise new fobs etc:thumbup1:
  23. That's what I was thinking, you have to ask yourself "how would I look in this car", Picture yourself driving down the main street in whichever car you're thinking about and see if you think they would suit your personality and character. When I look at that white one, I tend to think of a 19- 25 year olds car. I think there's too much going on with it. Just my opinion. Rich
  24. Looks ok to me mate, when you say cheap, how much?? any links??
  25. I agree with Lee (Jaikai), I think that's a little over modified, it's more of a "Boy Racer" car than a classic sports car:thumbup1:
