Becoming a sole trader
Best of luck with your venture Chris. You will do well with your attitude to work, because if your employer has a decent business, then you can only do much better by improving what you see as negatives in your current workplace:thumbup1: Go for it and don't look back:thumbup1:

Stevens Car - My Statement
So it was just to land it on UK shores so. Do you feel the garage took advantage of the chap?, considering they didn't even change the oil??

Stevens Car - My Statement
Quick question, If you've imported the car and charged a "fee" for it, did this include servicing it and getting it MOT'd and SVA'd?? Or was it just to get it onto UK shores?? I ask because if you took responsibility for putting the car on the road, then shouldn't you shoulder some of the blame ?? Not having a go, just looking for some clarification that's not mentioned in your statement

Stevens Car - My Statement
How was this car graded a 3.5 ??? I for one wouldn't ever be able to trust the Grading system if this is anything to go by. I think if I ever do decide to import a car, I'll make a holiday of it and visit Japan to pick out my own car from the likes of Z32 Proshop Zone.

Missing parts from Z1motorsport
Sounds to me like someone in Fedex UK is into Z’s or knows the value of parts shipped from Z1:whistling:

Z31 in Berlin
Pity the steering wheel is on the wrong side for us, that looks mint :thumbup1: Wasn’t there a wider flared arch version also ??

Buying a Z, your opinion is invited.
Keith (KJZ32) has a clean NA Slicktop for sale for £5,500, (just to give you an idea) as he had his own autobody shop before he retired, I would expect it to be of a high standard. He has also painted a few club members cars, including my own, Mogsey's, Coopd's and Alic's dads car.:thumbup1: I think cars with clean bodywork, be they NA or TT are now starting to fetch a premium as this is where a lot of Z's fall down. Engines can be removed and rebuilt, but it's the amount of work, time and money required to cut out rust, weld in new expensive body panels and the painting of same, that makes paying a higher premium for a good clean car worthwhile.

Goodbye Del Boy dodgy imports, hello gorilla imports!
Is he even going to make a post stating his position on what appears to be a complete waste of money?? How can anyone in good conscience sell / import a ball of shite and then wash their hands of it?? If it was me, and a person wasn’t happy with something, I would offer (and have done previously) to refund the full amount subject to the goods being returned. How can anyone expect to have a good reputation if they won’t stand over something they sell?? Just my two cents worth:confused1:

Ah man!! So sorry to hear that what you considered your pride and joy in Japan, turned out to be a lame duck and total disappointment. At least Josh is looking after you and with Jimmer checking it over beforehand shows customer service and a dedication to customer satisfaction :thumbup1: Use the slickie as a dedicated track mule and enjoy your new 2+2 on the road

Richie's "Blue Thunder" Build Thread!!
Yup, the SRT8’s are a chunkier caliper, whereas the AMG and Brembo 18z’s are narrower at the ends, thus making them fit inside all my 3 & 2 piece 18” wheels. I’ll show you what I mean... AMG inside 19” Equip Porsche Brembo 18Z inside my 18” Veilsides Brembo 18Z inside my 18” SSR Gartmaeir’s The fatter ends make it hard to fit a 3 piece 18” wheel over the caliper, Forged 18” 1 piece wheels like Volk TE37’s and Enkei’s will clear them as they don’t need as much of a step:thumbup1: I’m selling the Brembo 18Z setup which will fit inside both your wheels Rob:thumbup1: You really should try and subscribe to see what’s on offer in our Buy, Sell and Wanted section:thumbup: SRT8's inside the 18" Veilsides, note the ends are all that catches.

Richie's "Blue Thunder" Build Thread!!
Because I’m a brake whore , the first set (SRT8 6 pots) were all I was doing until my 18” Veilsides wouldn’t go over them, I said I’d make do and got 19” Equips to fit instead (still not sure if they’d clear the SRT8’s), as I have two Z’s, I decided to do up a set that the Veilsides would clear, hence the Porsche Brembo 18z 6 pots, then I stumbled across a LH AMG for small money, took me 3 months to source a RH one. I’m not rushing to finish the cars so managed to source a second set of AMG’s over time, so I’m selling off the other kits to help fund my outstanding Z debts.:whistling::yes: The AMG’s fit inside all my 18” & 19” wheels comfortably and will look

Advice on Maintaining polished aluminium alloys

The 300zx Detailing Thread
Hey Joel, can you do up a list of products used and label them for others to follow?? It will hopefully help out us lesser perfectionists to achieve similar results to your car:thumbup: iE. 1. Rinse 2. Snowfoam (Brand / Product Title) 3. Shampoo (Brand / Product Title) etc I need to have some sort of cleaning system sorted for the Z when I get it back:thumbup1: I've gotten my hands on a free Nilfisk Alto Neptune 3 Diesel / Electric hot wash :whistling: Needs some attention, but hoping it just needs a new hose and a good servicing:innocent::whistling: Fingers crossed !! Thanks.
