1. I just want to say a big "Thank you " to Lee (Jaikai) at this time. While we're throwing around suggestions etc, it is he who is "manning the pumps" and has put in the time to change the Club page, trialed different hosting versions, setup new Facebook pages etc. You tend to forget that someone has to be in the background doing all the work. So Thanks mate for all the work:thumbup:
2. Ha!! We're all very forgiving around here nowadays  You looking or have you already got yourself a Z?? Pics required if you have
3. Welcome back, what was your old Username?? Jaiaki might be able to ressurect your old Profile for you:thumbup1:
4. We've booked into Carrog Station Campsite for the week 12th-19th (weather depending). Finishing up work today and will spend tomorrow packing everything up (Impul & Zedworld ecu's, Brembo calipers etc) as well as our gear. If anyone wants something (small) bringing over, let me know. Tom, I'll hopefully see you there Sunday:thumbup1: If anyone else is about you can get me on here or Facebook:thumbup:
5. Hey Howard, regarding the Equips, have you looked into the bolt pattern on the Image wheels?? It would be handy if you could just swap out the centres??
6. Nice work Lee, it's nice to get a trip down memory lane, I recognised a few cars, it's mad how quickly you forget when they're no longer floating around the forum.
7. Cool, I've no access to Facebook but I do have Forum access when I'm here in my office.:thumbup1: I spend a fair bit of my down time on it though:yes:
8. "The facebook page is a page rather than group. There is another group with the exact same name as us but we do not run it. Initially the Facebook page was started by Kim and was only used for site updates, the other committee and myself have been doing rotated updates on it but it could do with more updates." This is what I was saying earlier. If we had a few Z related prize draws for Premium members, we could use the Facebook page as a way of alerting non-members to the fact that there is a Club that gives back to its members and channel more traffic to here, they can then decide if subbing would be worth everything we have to offer already, plus the chance to win something during the year. Surely this idea is worth considering?? I'd be up for helping out with bits and bobs regarding Facebook / Moderation, but I'm not the best at a lot of the computer aspects.
9. Judging by your smile, I’d say you’re delighted mate:clap: Congratulations on building a beautiful car, that grey looks stunning
10. I seriously don’t see a problem with £1, (as long as there’s an explanation behind it) people should be ok with it.
11. Was looking for the dial surrounds on Facebook and realized I had nearly $30 credit in rewards with CZP, so ordered a set of the titanium rings which arrived today:clap: Didn’t bother going to bed after a 24hour shift to get stuck into the dash of the Z. All back together
12. My grandfather was an engineer and had worked with Campbell, there's photos at home of the boat moving at high speed across Coniston, my mother grew up there before my grandfather moved to the submarine yards at Vickers in Barrow-in-Furness:thumbup1:
13. I never post in the "What did you do to your Z today" as I have a build thread and feel I'd be clogging up the pages with similar multiple posts. I live in Ireland and have never been to any shows etc. I still pay the subs as I feel I should contribute for the facility provided here. I think it would be nice if we could do something like a Club Raffle twice a year? one at the Summer AGM and one at Christmas. Big things like a set of Meister Coilovers, Turbo Kit, Intercooler kits etc. Things that members find hard to save up for. I know it would be expensive but you might find more people getting involved if they had a chance of winning something of value?? We could look at having them as Premium Member draws whereby, Premium Members are offered a chance buy a ticket for £20 / £50 (with a limited amount of slots) to be in with a good chance of picking up something worthwhile, Maybe vouchers off a steering wheel retrim from Hide & Seat or a health check at Powerzed. For example, I paid $50 (1 of 200 slots) into a raffle last year for a brake kit. £100 into a raffle this year for an R35 GTR etc. Now I know that some of above might be too much but it's just to give you an idea. We could do monthly member draws for smaller stuff (Pizza Meal deal) etc. We could use the Facebook page to promote / advertise Member raffles, but you'd have to be a fully paid up member to enter?? Just an idea:thumbup1:
14. I think Keith, myself and the family will be at this, but not in a Zed:thumbup:
15. Welcome back mate, is it a car we know?? Any pics ??
16. Jo’s booked the ferry for the 8.05 Sunday (12th) morning crossing . Hopefully get a chance to meet some of you while we’re there:thumbup:
17. Been talking to Jo (Boss), Keith and Tom, so it looks like this is going ahead:clap: Jo is waiting on an email at work about her ferry pass and she’ll book it hopefully this week, doing this on a shoestring budget :scared:. Yeah Ian that sounds great, I’m going to bring one of each 6 pot Brembo caliper and adapter brackets, if anyone wants to “try before they buy” to see if wheels clear etc, that’s if anyone’s interested??:whistling:
18. It’ll probably cost you another £3-400 to have it shipped mate, I might be able to get it on a container if you want it ??
19. I’m hoping to Ian, Keith has invited me along, have to see what the rest of the family want to do though :thumbup1:
20. Smithwicks used to be brewed 20miles down the road from me in Kilkenny, the Museum is still there :thumbup1:
21. Cool Tom, I’ll message ya for details :thumbup1:
22. You’re only an hour up the road from me, Jay (Dutchgold) is Dublin based. Ha!! I know Gaz, still didn’t stop Jo from getting p***ed the last time we were at Keith’s  Really looking forward to catching up with himself, Emma and the kids, we’re bringing our two as well:thumbup:
23. Cool, business or pleasure Chris??
24. Well guys, we’ve decided to have a little holiday over in Wales:whistling: We’ve gotten our hands on a Vango 8 man airbeam tent and are planning on paying a visit to Keith, that’ll give me a chance to swap out the brakes and go to a car show to hopefully bump into some of you guys :punk: Hoping to be heading over around the 11-12th August for a week or so. Keith has kindly offered his garden as a temporary campsite (keep costs down) so a Huge thanks to Keith:clap: Hopefully see some of you guys and have a laugh as well as doing some sightseeing
25. Said I’d do some work on this Z today as it’s been a bit neglected while brakes etc were being sorted. As I’m flat broke for the moment, I decided to try doing some time consuming jobs that would hopefully cost me nothing. Since getting this car the boot lock never worked, so I stripped out the only unbroken bit of trims and investigated why the key wouldn’t turn, if originally assumed it was a replacement barrel lock but after some MO94 (WD40) and a bit of fiddling, I now have all 3 locks working as they should  there was a white coating of oxidation which had caused the mechanism to seize, a simple cost free fix at the end of the day :thumbup1: I’m between two minds on whether to fit my original Altia centre panel from the blue car or buy a ‘99 spec and ask a certain somebody about getting it to light up ala Altia only in red like on the blue car.:innocent:
