  1. I think they're like a +1 and -1! He's not sure, we can test fit them and see. My brother got some 20mm spacers for tomorrow, if I fit these doesn't that bring my + 36 Veilside offset down to +16?? I'm going to need the spokes to clear the calipers by pushing the wheel out 20-30mm, so my offset would be +6 with a 30mm spacer??
  2. You're looking at Z3 parts which are BMW bud, you need to look for either 300zx, Z32 or Fairlady ads as these are Nissan:thumbup1:
  3. My buddy Brendan is going to call over at some stage, see if we can get the 10 x 18 and 10.5 x 19 Volks Racing GT7's to fit, he'll also be looking to see which barrels will make the two front Veilsides work, I'm definitely rebarrelling the Veilsides, looking at roughly €200 a side plus whatever Bren wants to build them. The GT7's are a set he has lying around spare, i can pay them off over a few months:thumbup1:
  4. Problem solved !! :tt2::whistling::innocent::thumbup:
  5. Thanks for the info Rob, I can also go for a step lip to 19"s, just need to see how much these options are gonna cost me, will hopefully be talking to my wheel guy this evening, think he's busy at the Irish Drift Championship this weekend:thumbup1:
  6. Yeah, Going to do some research for the night :sweatdrop::sweatdrop:
  7. The Veilsides have a step in the barrel, I could maybe swap out the barrels for ones that are flat??? Here's a pic If I could get a flat barrel and swap out the original with the bulge / step as pictured above, I might still be able to use them, other than that, I'd have to sell them for a different style of wheel:thumbdown:::scared::thumbdown: I really need to make these work, any suggestions??
  8. Went down to the garage an had a crack at installing the front brake discs and calipers Had some trouble mounting up the wheels, got a loan of some 20mm hubcentric spacers and got the 19"s on but it's looking like I'm going to have to do something with the Veilsides. Not sure yet:innocent:
  9. Bang up some pics Gaz, as the original Gumtree link is gone.:thumbup1:
  10. I don't see the point in getting all arsey over something that doesn't affect you bud, now if you had designed one of these PTU's, then I could see a point in arguing the pro's and con's and getting bent out of shape over your hypothetical designs, but at the end of the day...... It doesn't matter as it's just a discussion regarding the differences and people's experiences with both types of part. Nemesizx already told you he has a series 2 fitted but who cares as long as it works.
  11. Everyone is entitled to their opinion Ali, why are you being a d**k about Nemesizx's comments?? Picking apart his comments is just plain infuriating!! What's your problem? Who gives a s**t about it anyway. it just looks like you're trying to be a smartarse from where I'm sitting.
  12. Just needs a few bulbs changing, for a £6k difference I'd take the cheaper one and get the mop bucket and paint brush out:thumbup:
  13. I'm personally going for a Twinz design rear spoiler, similar to the '89 spec but sleeker lines, mines not fitted yet but the test fit was excellent
  14. :happybday: Happy Birthday Lee :happybday: Hope you have a great day
  15. Hide the boring old box, don't forget, if you're getting a new Wiring Specialties Loom, they only connect to the later series 2 PTU:thumbup1:
  16. Just got a text from the garage to say that a flywheel never came in yesterday for Qashqai, so they won't be able to do my car today:thumbdown: Thinking of going down there as I had planned and just doing something with it, maybe fit my front Brembos and test fit my wheels, I hate being let down, was looking forward to making some major progress over this weekend.
  17. Welcome to the club, I'm based down in Carlow :thumbup1: Any pics / details of your car??
  18. Yeah Winston, it's compatible with the series 2 PTU bud only bud :thumbup1:
  19. GROUP BUY UP AND RUNNING IN THE GROUP BUY SECTION:thumbup:
  20. I'm not sure if they give a better sound as people all have differing tastes/ideas on what they see as a nice exhaust note. I'm personally getting a true straight through system from the turbos back, but again that's all that was available to me, should we get resonators?? Does it help prolong the life of the turbos?? Does it create back pressure or does it create turbulence with the exhaust gases? I don't know the answer to any of this, I'm sure some of our more qualified guys will be along to answer these questions. There's probably hundreds of these debates online which can be confusing as each one will be either pro or con and they'll have their arguments for each. I think it's up to the individual to decide themselves. So, after all that, I can't really give you an answer:innocent: All I can do is show you the difference between the NA decat and divorced downpipes with testpipes, so that you don't make the same mistake I did by thinking they're all interchangeable and will mate up to each other.
  21. That wouldn't be a bad price, roughly €8700 plus shipping??
  22. Yeah Dave, they're pretty much the same style with the exception of the bulged section / resonator. They still bolt up the same so you'll need to sell your ones and get the correct test pipes to match the divorced downpipes, hope this helps.
