I'm going to revisit this tomorrow and see if I can shift / finesse the caliper to sit the pad the 4-5mm closer, would it being a 4 pot not increase the area where pressure is applied to a much larger 350mm rear disc??

Did the skim and threw in a set of pads to see what the coverage was like, what do you guys reckon?? Is this close enough ??

Why the hell have the pics started rotating!!

Test fitted the drivers rear caliper for fitment, need to shave a few mils off to get it to sit perfect but it gives you an idea of how it's going to look :thumbup1::thumbup1:

Finished the rear caliper rebuild today:thumbup:

Got my BMC brace off Iain Knight this morning and I have to say, it's a nice piece of kit, comes with stainless fittings:thumbup: Thanks Iain

The z bmc is more than up to the task bud, I didn't have to do the maths, there's a Group on Facebook that works on Brembo Big Brake conversions and Jacob has already done the maths, he's got guys running AMG 8 piston calipers and the SRT8 rears on Z's, Supras, 350Z's, 370Z's and the Infinity's / GT350's etc. I'll see if I can copy his calculations file and post it up if you like. I'm hopefully going to be fitting everything in the coming weeks and can report back also with real time experience for anyone that might be interested, I'm hoping it all goes with very little hassle:thumbup:

I picked up a set of Chrysler 300c SRT8 rear calipers Steve, same as the Jeep Grand Cherokee '07- '12 model, the newer ones don't fit our Z's but they do fit the Supra and 350/370z:thumbup:

Mondo is retrimming my OEM gear knob + gaiter, handbrake handle + gaiter, centre console lid and OEM steering wheel. Wouldn't have anyone else touch it:thumbup:

All the stainless bleed valves fitted to both sets, and managed to fully rebuild my front calipers, new dust boots and seals, will do the rears tomorrow :thumbup:

Thanks guys:thumbup: I'm going to be using the set on the left Gaz, 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears:punk: I'm greedy Si :tt2::innocent: I'm doing up a set of Evo calipers for a buddy:whistling: All cleaned up (blanks removed) and decals fitted, moving onto the stainless bleed valves now

Going to have a busy day today, powdercoaters rang me at 8am to say the calipers were ready for collection. Going to get stuck into rebuilding them and checking fitment on my rear hubs at least:thumbup:

Last piece of the jigsaw arrived 5 mins ago. 3" Downpipes to fit up to my full 3" system. Big thanks to Ash (ADL Phoenix) for sorting these out for me:clap: I'm hoping to get a call from the powdercoaters either today or tomorrow regarding my brake calipers and then it's full steam ahead with the build:hyper::hyper::hyper: Hopefully update some more today or tomorrow :thumbup1:
