  1. I have to say you have a Vast amount of "Can Do" spirit and feel you should be commended on the effort you have put into this car:thumbup::clap::punk: WELL DONE
  2. Same sentiment here also, Have a great weekend guys and I expect to see loads of pics of people and cars, just to put faces to some of the names on here:thumbup:
  3. What the hell do you work at mate?? Gold plated exhausts, I need a new, better paying job !! Any vacancies?? Bike is looking great:thumbup:
  4. I had ordered a set of these along with Testpipes and other bits from CZP Graham, (see "Richie's Blue Thunder Build thread"). Andy asked if i could order a second set for him if he Paypal'd me the price of them, which I did:thumbup:.
  5. Upset, like having your guts ripped out:thumbup: He was gutted (Down, Depressed, Miserable, Despondent, Upset,) they hadn't arrived, but he's not anymore, as he got them a day later:thumbup:
  6. Thanks guys, will have a look at it today depending on the weather:thumbup1:
  7. Same as that Andy, it really was a poor effort of a video:thumbdown:
  8. The bolt wasn't there to begin with so I went to put in the one provided in the kit put it's not screwing into anything and then falls out. The hole must be threaded, could I get my mechanic to tap it?? The bonnet is pivoting when it's being closed which is going to bend the corner or pull out the other bolt
  9. Another shot of the struts The bottom of the bonnet is pulling / pivoting away from the bracket. Any ideas??
  10. After playing with all my Z parts, I figured I was fit enough to go down to the garage and do a few bits on the car.... Did my shifter refurb, fitted new rubber bushes around the pivot and the bronze bushes pushed in, Hopefully copper grease is ok??? (Let me know if it's not suitable guys). Went to swap it out and lost my no.12 spanner down onto the gearbox!!! Put it all back together so the car can be driven back in at night and will get the spanner when we pull the engine if it hasn't fallen down this evening:thumbdown: Before Fitted my powder coated coilpack brackets with stainless bolts and also the balance bar. One of the plenum mounting points snapped off:scared::thumbdown: Not sure if the powdercoating process had softened up the metal or what as I wasn't tightening them down that much. After Fitted my Winfactory bonnet struts, they could have marked which bracket went where instead of trial and error, more issues, as my car didn't have a bolt on the bottom passenger side bracket, I was happy to fit the new Winfactory bolts only to find that the reason there was no bolt is due to the fact that it just falls back out, must be threaded. This is means that the struts are putting too much pressure on the bottom corner of the bonnet, can I do anything to rectify this??
  11. Show us the back ones also Daz:thumbup:
  12. Thanks Gaz, I think i might chance my guys at my local Nissan, save on postage and can pay in installments:thumbup:

  16. Where do you get them Gaz?? Part no's?? Mine are rusted to bits, I was doing a few bits on the car today and was wondering if people painted them or what. :thumbup1:
  17. More goodies today Started to rebuild my OEM shifter Did a bit of a clear out in the shed, way too many boxes!! Found these few bits while rooting out everything Powertrix FUCA's that I bought in 2010:thumbup: Pulled out the front bumpers, splitter, ducts and indicators, Can't wait to get all this painted up, I'd say it will more than likely be over the winter now though, the car will be going in for the turbos etc in the middle to end of August. Remap after that and then will be looking at paint.
  18. Glad you're all happy with them guys, has everyone received them or are there one or two still to get them??
