  1. Hi guys, looking for the size of the bolts that thread through the coil pack brackets and into the coils, there's 4 on each bracket, I want to purchase stainless ones. Thanks
  2. This one is nice:thumbup1: only 43k Km's is she a TT??
  3. Top one is savage, love it, but.... WTF on that last one Gaz, looks like a child's car with a push handle on the back for the parents to control:laugh:
  4. I have to agree Si, he's an extremely sound guy to deal with, I spent a lot of time on Messenger organising this and he was always prompt with replies and updates  Looking forward to dealing with him again:thumbup1:
  5. Ha!! That's Chris's @ Z-Spec in the US, you know how everything is bigger over there:clap:
  6. Right guys, quick update, he's hoping these arrive at his place next Monday, so he can begin shipping them out.. Black with no logo Polished with logo
  7. Nick from CZP has informed me that the gear knob for one of the guys still hasn't arrived yet, so my order is held up until they get it from Z1 who aren't the best at customer care:thumbdown:
  8. Hats off to you for taking on such a mammoth task:thumbup: Well done, you're on the home straight now:thumbup:
  9. Sounds like a plan bud:thumbup1: you going to get the slash cut on an upswept tilt?? Sounds nice and sporty without being too in your face:thumbup1:
  10. Thanks for the info Howard:thumbup:
  11. A few people have wrapped them on here, I can't remember who but have a quick search:thumbup1:
  12. From others feedback, they give a smoother braking experience with more contol over slowing speeds, but let's face it, most go for the cosmetic appearance you get with them also, with the braking being a secondary rewarding factor.
  13. I'm going to set mine up, I got a full setup front and rear from the Jeep srt8, the brake master cylinder is the correct size to run them properly and I can report back from there. As I've stated earlier, I'm awaiting further info regarding these kits but from what I've seen, there has been no negative only positive feedback from either the Supra, 370z, g37, 350z guys that are already running these setups. One of them had to slam on his brakes (emergency stop) due to a guy running a red light in the US and reckoned his brake setup saved him from being written off as he stopped a lot quicker than his standard system. There's no problem if people don't want them, this was just a thread to see if there were any interested parties. He was going to do me a Group buy deal if people wanted them. I can get anything from just the bracket adapters to a partial or complete kit, people can source their own calipers and discs if they wanted, I myself have got the calipers, brackets and am going to get a set of pads, lines and pin kit off him as he's half the price of what I've found researching myself. The pin kit is $62 with the retainer Spring another $73 and that's just for the fronts from Mopar/Jeep. He can get me the full set for the front for $25, again front pads were coming in at $110-$160, he can source better spec for $75. Just an example, for you guys to mull over, I reckon my kit including what I've got and what I need to buy is coming in around £1500 using the Mtec drilled and grooved front and rear discs, it would be a few hundred more to go with Tarox or Stoptech, but that's for both the front and rear setup, I'd imagine even the k-sports would come in at twice that price never mind Brembo.
  14. How much did the full front and rears cost Howard??
  15. He's doing brackets for Radial mount also, I'd say the pics above I guys trying things out themselves, I'll see if he can send me some pics of radial mounts fitted to Z's:thumbup1:
  16. Found some with wheels fitted.. The guy with the yellow rear calipers used VW Toureg ones instead of the Jeep SRT8,s. The rears are 4 pots from the rear of a jeep srt8, they're rear calipers and not fronts that have been thrown on, they're used in conjunction with both the 4, 6 and 8 piston fronts that are available for the Z. The first pic rears don't seem to sit as low as the yellow ones?? Maybe that guy has run different rears?? I'm bedridden after my surgery last Monday, but as soon as I'm up and about, I'm finishing off my rear NA subframe and will bolt up the brakes and throw up some pics, hopefully in the coming weeks :thumbup1:
  17. I was thinking that they hung a bit low also, I'll try and find a pic with them fitted with wheels:thumbup1:
  18. Rear is Brembo 4 pot, here's a pic to give you an idea:thumbup1: This guy is running Z1 2 piece discs both front and rear, the discs can be OEM 370z's or the fancier (+expensive) 2 piece, 355mm front and 350mm rears.
  19. I haven't got all the details just yet Si, but it would probably work out cheaper to buy the 370z discs in the UK rather than the US due to the weight, I was buying CZP's 2 piece fronts for $495 but the shipping for just the 2 discs was $177 plus duties, you can get Mtec, Tarox, EBC, APEC, Stoptech and OEM on eBay for anywhere from half to a third of the price in the UK with some doing free shipping, Mtec will do front and rear discs, drilled and grooved for just over £300 delivered:yes: There's an assortment of combinations that can be used for the Z's, Porsche Cayenne 6 piston, AMG 8 piston, (I got Jeep SRT8 6 piston) and a few others from the Porsche, Merc range, most built by Brembo. The brackets are CAD designed and tested for strength, they do the front 6 /8 pots and rear 4 pots. Calipers are brand new unless otherwise stated. I'm awaiting a full price and breakdown of prices to see what is the best way to go on these, but I know he's cheaper for the Hardware (springs, pins, hoses and pads) than shopping around yourself as I've been researching my own parts and I can't come clos to his prices even in the US :thumbup1:
