  1. So today, I pulled my Koyo Racing Rad, I had previously broken the overflow pipe on the filler neck by closing the bonnet with the stay, snapping it. It also was a bit warped from lying in a box in the shed for 5-7 years. It's now gone for repair, should hopefully have it back by Thursday. €140:thumbdown: Have to source shorter manifold bolts for the AMS manifolds:thumbdown: Once these two things have been rectified, I should be able to get things moving :innocent: Here's hoping anyways:whistling:
  2. Debating that myself, CZP sell Mike Smith manifold short studs at $10 each:shock: so $120 plus shipping
  3. Anywhere locally that would sell shorter manifold studs??
  4. I got my manifolds second hand guys,
  5. I don't have any studs with them, do I have to order them from an AMS retailer or would they be available locally?? Where's the best place to get them from?? Thanks
  6. Ah man, that's just rotten luck bud, at least it's not too serious, happens the best of us , so stop beating yourself up about it:yes:
  7. You mean these studs Ash For the turbos to bolt to??
  8. Work wheels, SSR, BBS, OZ and Volk etc, these are the high end brands, normally in 2/3 piece at a premium price, you then have Rota, TSW, Team Dynamics and JR (Japan Racing) which do similar styles in a one piece :thumbup1: Hope this helps.
  9. Hi Fraz, he wants to drop it down rather than pull it up?? either way the gearbox will be disconnected and the engine moved either up or down. I just need to know which is quicker and easier:thumbup1:
  10. I was thinking the same, it would be for the benefit of the Club:thumbup1:
  11. You shouldn't be walking around your workshop in your bare feet matey :nono::lol:
  12. Nice work on the intercooler ducts, could do with a set of them:thumbup1:
  13. Hi guys, myself and the mechanic were just debating on the quickest + easiest way to replace manifolds, turbo's and downpipes. He thinks removing / dropping the front subframe will be the easiest way?? Bear in mind that he's doing me a favour and needs his lifts / workshop space for other jobs, so it's basically whichever way has the shortest lift / space time:thumbup1: What do the mechanically Z experienced people on here reckon??
  14. Yup, with a full Stillen kit on it:thumbup1:
  15. I love it when a plan comes together:thumbup:, Congrats on getting up and running again:thumbup1:
  16. Fitted both sides with 25mm spacers and got both sides fitted up with my 355mm discs / Brembo's. I've to wait two week before my wheel guy can get down and take the required measurements to sort out my front wheels. Needed the spacers to clear the existing Big Brembo let alone my 6 piston ones Hoping they don't stick out too much:innocent:
  17. :happybday: Happy Birthday matey :happybday:
  18. :happybday: Happy Birthday buddy, hope you have a good one :happybday:
  19. Looking good Dano:thumbup:
  20. I know Ali, myself and Lee had originally done a deal on it but the hassle and worry of getting it across the water without damaging it or breaking the glass was too much for the two of us:yes:. Ideally it would have to have been collected by myself in a van and wrapped up in duvets and transported flat. There's hardly anyone up in Scotland with a van that's willing to take a spin to Ireland with a tailgate in the back??:whistling:
  21. Some nice classics in there:yes: the Z is in good company:thumbup:
  22. Think Petes is a shorty Lee, not sure if they're interchangeable??? I would have taken it had the couriers/shipping not have been such a headache:scared:
  23. I will still need spacers as the spokes are too flat, so no matter where they are positioned in the barrel they will always catch the calipers unless spaced out
  24. The Veilsides bud, that's the advantages of 3 piece wheels, I can change the lips and the barrels if need be to make them fit, going to cripple my finances for a while but it'll be worth it to have a nice set of wheels on the car:thumbup: Any progress on your new wheels??
