  1. what about a complete ally panel...
  2. is it a garrett? if it is, it's not a problem :)
  3. are you just after stock rebuilds with 270 deg or 360 deg bearings? if you are, i'm your man ;)
  4. count me in for this one :D
  5. yep, it all depends on what you have to trail it round, i would say 3 metres each side, that way you will have enough to play with and then some to do the rears with as well :)
  6. good man!! always good to keep the underside smoooooth :D
  7. i used 3" flexi hose but, 2 or 2.5" will do it. as for fitting the hose to the duct, it's only pushed on so the bumper can come off cleanly.
  8. well i can tell you now, i had fitted these in the correct orientation and i very much doubt it had anything to do with the failure of the tension rods, after all, my tein tension rods are as sold as when they first went on. all i know is, i have lost faith in powertrix which i thought were a highly reguarded product, i would'nt have brought them in the first place if i thought any differently. its going to be SPL, tein and drift works from now on for me. i appolagise if this offends anyone but, for me, the proof was in the pudding
  9. yep, every powertrix unit i have brought is now in the bin:bored:
  10. not true, all my mods have been declaired and my insurance legel team are now dealing with the council as we speak:wink:
  11. its SPL all the way for me now!! at least my SPL transverse links are it tact ;)
  12. you should have a wiring diagram with the AEM unit that shows where every pin goes and which ones you can get rid of. have a look on their web site. all the info will be on there :)
  13. anyone else managed to sheer a top arm?? i also did a drop link for the ARB both are POWERTRIX
  14. looking good Andy, how have you got round the fuel line and temp sensor issue? EDIT: scratch that, i've just seen your rail post :)
  15. i had these a few years back before i got my coil overs. IMHO do not use these, at high speed the rebound shocks the car and makes it very unstable and difficault to control. i wouldn't risk it, save your money and get a propper set up :)
  16. good luck with it all buddy, hope it goes well :)
  17. hard to say exactly without having it infront of me but, judging by your pic, i would say you are on the right line.
  18. glad you're happy dude. just take it easy till the fueling's sorted ;)
  19. telling me!!! it actually looks tighter in the pic than it really is. believe it or not, i can actually get down the passanger side of the engine bay
  20. thats right, at the end of the day, they're dead weight. unscrew them and bung up the little nipple on the compressor inlet pipe. then you can run a vac line straight from your WG actuator to the controllers solenoid. job done :D
  21. i've not delt with the AVC-R but, if it's anything like all the other electronic boost controllers then, no. you can get rid of the solenoid and the stock "T" pieced vac lines.
  22. can't remember off the top of my head but, i have an incling that its on the end of a shorter pipe which is welded to a plate thats bolted to the inner wing or rail.
