  1. Burn the v5 and steal it back...
  2. Pull the sale, pull the sale, nooooo!
  3. Wahey, another local zed :) welcome
  4. I think they will look fine, it's more a matter of how well the bits and bobs inside perform and how long they last. The 8-6kg spring rates will generally be a fair bit stiffer than your average lowering springs (although not as high as a lot of other coilover systems). Also, it's worth noting that a few people had problems with the first batches of meister coilovers that the ride height was too low and the bottom bracket wouldn't allow further height extension. In response to this they introduced more adjustment on the bottom bracket to allow the adjustment to go higher. For the money it'll be interesting to see if these have had this kind of R&D.
  5. Lol they've relisted the item!
  6. Maybe Jaffa or Bob could shed some light in this on their race cars?..
  7. They're made from 6063 T6 :p
  8. Wow they are cheap!
  9. Happy birthday matey
  10. You don't need spring clamps on the meisters to remove the springs. The preload is set by the spring seat locking collars, all you have to do is undo the locking nut and wind it down out of the way, then undo the base spring nut until there is no spring tension.
  11. Welcome to the club Miguel, they look like some very tastefully modified Z cars there. Let's see some more pics :) Joel.
  12. Hmmm, interesting mod. Always good to have more accurate displays of parameters such as water temp, oil temp and boost for 14psi+. Also the possibility of an oil temp display. I'd like the see the different display options as all the ones shown look pretty naff! Not sure about the screen on the right where you can clearly see where the edges don't quite fill the cutout.
  13. You're lucky you made it out alive last night, the hospital was only up the road
  14. The listing had already ended when I saw them last night Ollie otherwise I would've had a cheeky bid lol!
  15. I've just seen a set of these in person today and they really do look tasty!
  16. I think the injectors are supposed to click? Have you measured the resistance across the pins?
  17. I like Bedford aerodrome, big run offs so you can daisy cut rather than panel beat!
  18. Get the wheel off and clean it all up with brake cleaner. You may have to replace the pads if they have absorbed the grease.
  19. Holy smokes. Glad everyone is ok, any idea how it started?
  20. I like that. In fact, see if you can run them up the a pillars and out of the targas, that would be cool too.
  21. Look forward to some pics. Do you know what model year it is? The midnight purple ones was an option on the late versions I think. Welcome to the club.
