I agree, the mongoose sounds pretty pants on idle, too 'fluffy' is a word is use to describe it. It sounds too much like 2 1.5L 3 cylinder engines then a V6 warble. You could replace it but I think with the addition of a balance pipe such as a H or X and possibly a delete of the resonators before the back boxes, it may unlock a nicer noise from it. I've been meaning to modify mine with a H pipe so would be interested in the results. Otherwise, exhaust like the veilside evolution seem to unlock one of the nicest warbles, a lot of the other options are either too loud and too tinny/raspy (or both). Good luck finding a vs evolution though! If you have decats, try linking them with a H first to see if it changes the note.

It's an unfortunate reality that bell ends like that often become 'managers'! As said, don't cut your nose off to spite your face by leaving. By all means get the feelers out for another job and definitely don't do the guy any favours, leave him to sink or swim in the deep end. I feel an appeal would possibly not get you anywhere as the people that signed him off as competent for the job would probably not want to lose face. This sort of advice is easy to give from the outside, but I feel for you buddy, friction in the workplace is something that I would dread to have to deal with considering we spend a good portion of our lives there.

You won't find a set of UK clocks for an NA specifically (it will always have a boost gauge) as UK models were only available in twin turbo. I'd expect the final price of those clocks to reach nearer £100 so you would have been lucky to win for £35, to sell on at a profit.

Hi Robert. Welcome to the club. I seem to recall that you can't buy this item separate from Nissan and that they only sell the whole lower arm assy with ball joint, which is expensive. I replaced mine with these: http://bit.ly/QYrPJe Joel.

It's on the A127 between the M25 and Southend.

I would advise investment in replacement items from the US.

Maybe not power to weight, but corner weight and balance is going the right way, Simon has eaten a fair few pasties lately so needs to ballast to compensate!
