  1. That looks quite nice. Still not sure what to do! Keep it silver or go for something different
  2. I think yours would look much better with a bit of that paint - about 2 tons of it! LOL
  3. Yeah that's a good one cheers! :)
  4. Do any of you paint experts know how I might go about finding a match for that lambo metallic orange?
  5. Oh yeah I forgot about that car! LOL It's stunning but more a solid red-ish orange? I'm thinking more like that Galardo/Zonda shade :)
  6. The Z is needing a respray and I'm trying to decide on a possible colour change. Been thinking about going a crazy orange after watching the Zonda on a Top Gear repeat yesterday. Also absolutely love this Lambo colour but I don't fancy ordering paint from them LOL Does anyone know what cars use something similar so I can price up the options? I'm not sure if the Focus ST orange is quite as vivid and metallic as I'd like but I might call in and have a look at a dealer if I can find one. Can't say I've ever seen an orange Z other than this one in Thailand that I've always loved: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/224298 If anyone could do a photoshop of my car in orange that would be great :) Couple of pages of pics here: http://s158.photobucket.com/albums/t104/chris_p_carter/?start=0
  7. You'll be needing a 50" LCD mounted vertically to show all that porn life size
  8. I used them about 5 years ago for a while and they were very good and always honest about what needed doing. Haven't heard of them in a long time though.
  9. Yes you will get a bit of oil out so stick a poly bag over the end with an elastic band and try not to tip the box up too much! Prop has notches to keep it aligned together and they sometimes corrode a bit and seize together. Might need a bang to seperate. Probably too late now though and he's taking an oil bath! LOL
  10. Either the water pump or there are 2 small pipes that join the big metal water pipes from the radiator to the block/pump. They are a really common failure and only cost a couple of quid each. Either way it needs the cam covers off so might be worth buying a 60K service kit and doing it at the same time if it's not been done?
  11. Either a GT40 replica if I have a garage to build it in or a wide body 350Z :)
  12. I notice you ignored my previous post
  13. Not my cup of tea at all but each to their own. Even the rest of the Veilside kit doesn't really help it and I certainly wouldn't fit it on it's own to an otherwise standard car. My advice is save up and get a complete kit if you're going to do it. You'd never just fit a modified rear bumper on it's own so why do it with the front? I see loads of cars with silly fronts, massive wings or huge wheels and on their own they just look crap and unfinished. Go for a complete look or not at all IMO. Anyway, Please buy it so there's one less car to compete on looks with at the shows!
  14. You can make the turbine spin as fast as you like but it won't flow any more air on standard turbo's  There is NO WAY you will get 450RWHP from standard turbo's, even if the impellors were changed, never mind just the bearings! If it was as simple as changing the bearings then everyone with rebuilt turbo's would be running 500bhp
  15. It depends exactly which one it is that's gone. You might be able to do it from under the car but it's very cramped. Some of the hoses that run round the back of the engine are almost impossible to get to with the engine in.

Like Mark said, It looks great but I bet it's a pain to use. And what happens if you have a short shifter fitted?
  17. It sounds like a turbo water hose in that area. They're a real pain to get to to replace. It's unusual to hear it pouring out from there though when filling. It's more likely to be a radiator bottom hose or something but I can't see how the water would run towards the back of the car.
  18. It can be a bad/incompatible speed convertor thats usually fitted behind the clocks on an import or a faulty speed sensor on the side of the gearbox ;)
  19. I noticed that. It was showing in some forums and not others
  20. I subscribed a couple of months ago!
  21. Until the guy in the Veyron pulls alongside... :D
  22. Have you checked you aren't stuck in safety boost? There's a lot of Z's with minor faults causing them to keep the boost down and if you don't know any better the car will seem fine.
  23. And can you imagine having to take them off every week to clean the inside of the glass?!?! LOL Might look nice on a crazy show car but no good for use on the road.
