  1. How did this get dragged up from 3 years ago? LOL
  2. Might have to get in on this before the GB ends on Monday 26th. You can fully setup the TC system from this without your laptop so will be very handy for tweaking it on the road. More info: http://www.racelogic.co.uk/?show=Traction_Control-Products_and_Pricing-Digital_Adjuster
  3. I think it will have to come off. Mine were badly rusted too. Just prize the shields off and use a hacksaw to cut through them - they're only thin sheets of metal.
  4. Where exactly did you squeeze it? The plastic necks on the rad often crack so if it was close to the radiator that might be the problem. In which case it's time to buy an uprated rad.
  5. Change the fluid and see what happens :smash: Otherwise it's a new gearbox :(
  6. Like you said it's lucky it popped on the RR and not when you were driving it. Just imagine how gutted you'd be to lose the car in fire after all this money, time and effort. Might be worth getting extinguishers installed in the bay as I can't imagine your insurance paying out when they look under the bonnet! So what power did you make?!
  7. It's probably just that cheap shitty clutch that's worn out :D If it's just the 5th gear crunch problem then these boxes seem prone to it anyway without any further problems...

    Pork pies!
  13. I've upgraded loads of Z's and on almost every one the clutch started slipping very soon after...
  14. The ECU still has to learn the settings so just disconnect the battery for an hour. By the time someone has replied with a Consult the jobs done! LOL
  15. Haven't you finished it yet? :x: Looking gooood! ;)
  16. T-Cut then Meguires or Autoglym
  17. I've had Alpine units for years. Superb but not cheap.
  18. They go to the AIV system. They put clean air in to the exhaust for emissions but are usually clogged up and can produce an annoying gurgling noise. They're not needed so just blank them off or better still remove them and all the AIV junk behind the arch liners.
  19. Yes i've just got a mate who's after a set of 18's and i know he likes those from a pic of a purple Z he's seen.
  20. Did you check the hoses like we said?
  21. That sounds a bit cheap? Where's that from? Thought most of the RPS units were nearly that price alone, without fitting...

I never knew Macca had REAL ITALIAN VINYL in his Z! :o I thought it was the same LEATHER kit that i've got! Might be a good kit but he's not exactly being honest by showing someone elses leather interior is he?! :xxx:
  23. Maybe you spent it all on a Z :D
  24. Have a look at the online manual or unscrew everything with a lighter in your hand and you'll soon find out! :wack: LOL
  25. I doubt it. Most cars have loads of switches on their stalks whereas the Z has the side pods.
