  1. I'd say a grand would do it easy. I doubt you'll get it done in a day while you wait. It's a pain in the arse to do and took me 2 days just to get the clutch pedal installed  Probably easier once you realise its easier to take the dash apart to start with!
  2. That's what I said :D  Your auto box would have been mashed within minutes instead of hours if you hadn't changed it :o Putting 600-800bhp through it it's not really suprising is it? I've always heard the manual boxes can go up to about 600bhp and that's what you've got :headvswal
  3. Parts you'll need: Manual box Clutch Flywheel Clutch reservoir, master & slave cylinders, connecting pipework Alternator harness from manual car Pedals Front section of propshaft ;) All the holes are there ready for fitting. There's a metal blanking plate spot welded over where the master cylinder goes through the bulkhead but it's easy to knock out with a hammer and chisel. Over here the whole lot usually sells for around £500 to £600
  4. If they go pssshhhhttt then they're working LOL Will only make a noise when you back off though, not on gear changes as with a manual.
  5. My mum used to have a twin tub... :x: :slap:
  6. Here's another pic of this gorgeous pooch! He's called Sam and has won the Worlds Ugliest Dog title 3 years running apparently! Imagine that greeting you at the door on a dark night
  7. Maybe he's talking about a Yampie dog?
  8. It's not another post about ghosts is it?
  9. Good hunting, you won't be disappointed. Any manual model is harder to find though - not as many made and most imports are auto's.
  10. I thought the same when I went to Copenhagen recently - just walking down the main shopping street every girl was gorgeous and not a single one seriously overweight or dressed like a slapper as you get here   Must be the same for us men though as I have a Brazilian lady friend ;) whose stunning younger cousin just came over to start Uni here. Apparently the first thing she said was she never realised most english guys are ugly as f***!
  11. Short Wheel Base or 2 seater.
  12. I loved my 6 speed Alfa 156 V6, I could keep it right on the power all the way through the gears and it definately made it a quicker car along the twisties. It was such a good box I decided to write the car off whilst going for 6th! :smash:
  13. Have you been watching "Rocco Invades Poland" again? :xxx:  Always fancied a trip there myself.
  14. Any ideas yet on what sort of money is involved? I've driven 6 speed before and it's a huge improvement IMO. Wasn't there a link about putting the 350Z 6 speed box in recently? I presume that's even worse at handling power than the Z32 box though!
  15. I think the SWB is a fraction quicker and then there's the auto/manual debate. The manual is slightly quicker to 60 but the auto is faster to 100...
  16. From a Scouser!!! They are probably nicked mate! Which gauges are these? I'm sure the egg-like one has told me about 'em but I've not seen any working. Anyone got any pics? I might be after a set as I bought some cheapo shitty ones as a temporary measure last year and have never got them installed as it's been off the road since
  17. F.A.O Cybernet and KarlosG  You need to state which colour you want :smash:
  18. If it turns out your shoes are worn then prepare to be shocked at how much a Nissan Mainstealer will rob you for them!
  19. A few of you might of seen the post here or on SXOC about the new control box upgrade for those of you with Racelogic Traction Control. I have spoken to Mike at Racelogic and if any of us want to jump in on the Group Buy he is running, we are welcome but it's getting near to closing so you'll have to be fairly quick. The Supra club is also in on this one so don't let them get one up on us! I've ordered one myself as it looks like a really good enhancement to the system. It allows you to fully adjust the slip and change all the parameters that you would normally need to plug in your laptop for. It will also give you launch control if you didn't previously have that option  It's currently priced at £130.00 INC VAT + £8.17 delivery if you get in on the GB, which is a saving of £58.00 off the normal retail price. They come in silver or anodised blue as standard. Anodised black is an extra £10.00 This is the only GB they are running so this will be your only chance. See here for more info: http://www.racelogic.co.uk/?show=Traction_Control-Products_and_Pricing-Digital_Adjuster If you want one then post your interest and which colour you require on SXOC here: http://www.sxoc.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=163574
  20. Must be heading for £30K after 6 years... :D
  21. So how much fuel will you be using after all this shit whirrrrrs into life?
  22. Who's been digging up all these old threads today? Are you all that bored?
  23. Cooooool! or should i say Hoooooooottttt! You need a grill installing above that so your pies will be ready when you arrive at meets! The reason it shows up strange colours is that cameras are very sensitive to infra red that you can't see with the human eye. There's a lot of light coming off that glowing manifold that you can't see - it just looks orange to us. Try pointing your TV remote control at your video camera and you'll see it flashing away when you press a button :)
