  1. Check all the fuel lines for leaks. As it starts to get a bit cooler towards winter everyone starts having these problems as things contract and leak. Tighten up all the clips on the fuel pipes at the top/back of the engine and check there's no leaks under the fuel regulator and on the small pipe under the plenum/throttle pulleys. You can sometimes have quite a bad leak and not notice because as soon as the engine is warm the fuel evaporates and you can't see it. You can test for this by putting talc on the pipe joins before you start it then look for any thats been washed off. Think I need to type faster!
  2. What size are the Advans and how much are they going for? :D
  3. I'll have these next year if I can afford 'em ;) Axis Se7en's :p Been wanting them since I saw them on this gorgeous Z years ago  Sorry about all the pics but I just wet myself
  4. What about this bargain set of Do-Luck's including tyres?! :D http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_6_10&products_id=1235
  5. You've been PM'd!
  6. Would look better in silver :x:
  7. I'll definately have one of these done of my car mate. You should be very proud of skills like that
  8. I presume you got his details? If he has said he isn't insured I'd get the police involved imediately as if he refuses to pay up a month down the line then you'll be stuffed. He should have insurance anyway!
  9. Aaaaahhhh! So it's ketamine you've all been taking! :o Explains the strange halucinations too! :D
  10. I'll be there :) Should have the Z back by then.
  11. Like the "A" logo with the Nissan font  Can we have my big spoiler on the back please?! :D  I think its best to keep it simple without the Z on the car.
  12. Its a while since i removed mine but i'm sure it just lifted up once the seat belts had been pushed through...
  13. Courtesy Nissan sell them so they will be at least double here.
  14. With the luck i've had with my Z over the years I think i'm already cursed mate! LOL
  15. If it's going off the scale then it's already got a boost upgrade of some sort! The needle should only go to 9psi (0.6 bar) which is about two thirds of the way up the scale. If yours is an import then the gauge will be in mmHg. You'll probably find it's got boost jets installed in the wastegate pipes and these will have to be removed before fitting the controller. Only problem is, you're not going to see any power increase with your expensive controller!
  16. Paul, Can you give him a call and ask him to come put the willies up Mark and Vince please?!
  17. Yes but unless its a business then you won't be able to. I'd risk the negative feedback if I were you.
  18. Mine were badly ripped and dragging down the road so i took them off recently. Definately want a new set as all the air is blowing past my intercoolers etc.
  19. Just block off the small pipes when you change the exhaust. You could remove them with all the AIV junk from under the wings.
  20. Yes you should be fine to up the boost to around 1bar / 14psi with no problems. Has the boost controller been removed from the car before you got it? It must have had one with those other mods. What is it boosting to on the gauge now?
  21. You don't LOL Its a performance ECU and that's about it - nothing too exciting. Increases fueling over stock boost levels, improves response, increases maximum revs by a couple of hundred RPM, removes speed limiter etc. Same as other ECU's really.
  22. What have you been taking? :o
  23.     It's all that exploring of back passages he does :D
  24. Courtesy Parts are very quick sending to the UK so just order online and they usually arrive in a few days. I've ordered stuff on a sunday night and it's arrived tuesday morning at a third of the price of Nissan UK.
