  1. You need to configure your 2 access points on the same SSID and hopefully one will have a repeater mode you can use to extend things. The way you've set it up now, you've got 2 seperate networks to log in to.
  2. Seems to be a lot of it at the moment LOL I've been pi$$ing my pants at some of the wierd advice given on here recently. Never used to happen  Just people eager to help i suppose so shouldn't complain.
  3. On this age of car they probably aren't doing anything anyway and often start making loud gurgling noises. There's a write up on servicing them on twinturbo.net if you feel the need to keep them but if you've decatted then they are just a big pile of heavy junk.
  4. Basically they pass fresh/clean air into the cats to help dilute the emissions. Get rid of them to help destroy this awful planet!
  5. LOL Great advice so far peeps! AIV's Yes you can strip it all out ---> http://aus300zx.neuralmotion.com.au/tech/aiv/aiv.htm :)
  6. Mine comes from Chris and the letter C which is either something to do with my surname or because i'm a c**t :D
  7. You have to be a member to sell stuff on here and must also be able to spell the word Banzai... :xxx: This place is turning into the back pages of Automart
  8. I've been here 5 years so that works out at an average 78 posts per month compared to your 250pm LOL :D
  9. So does that not tell you something?
  10. You're becoming very sad :D
  11. It's not being done locally, I don't know of anyone round here who's worked on them in a big way. I do most stuff myself too but like you say sometimes you just don't have time. I pulled my engine last year, replaced it and did a manual conversion but when I cracked a piston i really couldn't face it all again as i'm just too busy to get it done in a reasonable time. There's a small garage in Harrogate and the guy owns a Z. He's rebuilt his own engine etc and has done me lots of smaller jobs dead cheap but he wasn't interested in doing my rebuild as he said it would clog his workshop up for too long.
  12. Need to do the HICAS arms as my car is all over the place at the moment. How easy are they to do myself and any special tools needed? Where's cheapest place to get them? Cheers! Chris.
  13. Car is going back in for the turbo to come off and be sorted :)
  14. TomTom Go 300 would be ideal. I use TomTom on my PDA and it's superb and dead simple to use.
  15. The Z should still keep it's title though as the Veyron is four wheel drive :D Amazing performance but I don't think its a very good looking car. Not sure I'd want to spend my spare million euros on it...
  16. Yes it's been rebored for slightly larger pistons but the smoking is purely on idle when you stop at traffic lights etc. After 30 seconds ticking over I get huge clouds out of the passenger side exhaust. It's burning oil when running but you can't really see it when you're moving. This is exactly what it was doing before the piston cracked so I'm fairly sure it's not the engine itself. It was full of oil when I picked it up and after 450 miles it was empty. Filled it up with a full can and most of that's gone already. 650 miles ish it's done in total I think.
  17. The PCV's were new when the engine went in. They could have clogged but it's very bad smoking, not just a bit.
  18. Getting really bad smoking on idle mainly from passenger side. Occasionaly is fairly light smoke from drivers side or comes from both but I suspect thats just coming through the balance bar? The turbos were not new when i put this engine in but they certainly looked like it. After only a few hundred miles it started smoking. Looks like the oil seal has gone on the passenger side turbo.
  19. :D I wouldn't mind a read of that as I only seem to get a couple of girls each week  A bit more knowledge won't do any harm LOL
  20. LMFAO  If you're referring to the one I think you are then strangely... no! :D
  21. Timmy Turbo is a bit of a UNIX / LINUX wizard I believe. Send him a PM?
  22. I've got the larger T28's fitted as well just to complicate matters. Also what are we looking at to get the oil seals done on a single turbo?
