JAE for me........
What a fantastic weekend! I think I went to bed at 8am after a truly great party! Thanks to all the guys who organised this - I can't wait until next year. I still can't stop laughing thinking about Vinz "dancing" to our Bee Gee singing! LMFAO! Who's paying for the skittles? I mean chairs? An extra special thanks goes to Chunk for lending us his chair to get Vinz back to his tent after we scooped him up at 7.30am  Unfortunately there was no way he could stay in it! The only downer was as Chunk mentioned, a certain ex forum member helping himself to everyones drinks and when I politely asked him not to leave with half a bottle of Pete's vodka he lost it :xxx: It did lead to a hilarious moment when over at the Toyota stand he decided to start on me and ran across the field like a raging bull, up the steps to the trailer where we were chatting but as he went for me, tripped over the top step and landed flat on his face! :wack: :xxx:  Thanks to the Toyota/Nissan guys for trying to calm the nob head down LOL Apparently he's banned from about 4 forums as a result :headvswal

Why I will never spend another penny on bodywork...
My mate lived on a quiet street in York and a few of us had our cars scratched when we stopped over one weekend. What made it really bad was it was a bit of a works night out and we had 6 company cars all keyed the full length of the car - our boss was furious as you can expect! It happened a few times but eventually one of the locals spotted an old lady doing it. Seemed she was pissed off with people parking in the street or leaving their wheels on the kerb! She doesn't own the road and surely a note on the car would have let people know her feelings. Don't know what came of it but the police paid her a visit.

Am I insane? Offshore racing power boat on the cards!
This is my mate Chris's boat and I was hoping to buy it off him earlier in the year until the Z cracked a piston :( The guy has a Knight Rider replica complete with square steering wheel LOL, an ex Indonesian Rally Toyota Hilux in fibreglass with modified Supra turbo engine LOL and 2 bikes - one of which he's in the process of fitting a turbo to! He's power mad! Went to have a proper look at it last night with Macca and I'm jealous! You know you want to mate. Would look awesome on the back of your Z and Warrior :D LOL He's a decent guy and I know if there was anything wrong with it he'd tell me.

brake pipes.... HELP!!!
I think MAC1 has had his done and it's not a cheap job. As has been said, the subframe has to come out :( Just hope they only meant the short pipes on the calipers need replacing but doesn't sound like it...

She stays!!!!!
If we'd known that the results might have been different! You should have booted her out, given a 20 year old nympho a free ticket to Ibiza and pulled another in a club for a week of 3some's :D Arrive home to the mrs after "thinking things over and realising how lucky you are to have her"

JAE 23th 24th July
OK mate, Out of 3 lady boys I've asked, it doesn't look like any are free, although one is visiting his parents in Peterborough which is a real co-incidence so might be able to sort something in the end! Not quite sure if he will be up for 3 in a tent yet though! LOL Either way you can squeeze in (in the tent, not my arse!)

Clutch...No first or reverse...HeLp
Hi mate, I had this problem on my Z. Bled the system a dozen times and even replaced a new clutch that had only done 2000 miles. In the end the problem was the clutch fork/lever that had bent. It just wasn't able to move the clutch far enough. Even with a new clutch it got worse when warm and eventually i got stranded when the fork snapped one day. If you're fitting an uprated clutch I'd recommend replacing the fork (£34 from Nissan) and and uprated pivot ball (£25 ish from Smithy). These bits have been in there up to 15 years taking the strain and uprated clutches seem to kill them. Well worth a bit extra to avoid having to take the box out again and worry about what might be causing your problems. Cost me £700 for a new clutch and labour to find out!

Power Steering "Lumpy feeling"
Yes it's a small barrel shaped thingy about 1.5" in diameter that plugs into the side of the gearbox. You can get to it from underneath. Worth checking the connections and removing it for a clean as they can collect bits from the box. They do wear out though so probably needs replacing.
