PMSL  Alternatively, dip the entire car in clear varnish and it will always look shiney :D
  2. It said on TV yesterday that they've spent 13 million on advertising that bast@rd Frog! :smash: And now it's been released on a single and it's outselling all others 4 to 1 so guess what's going to be on the radio for the next few weeks!
  3. Looks like it's packed individually and he says he's got 5!? Hope he means 5 sets of 6... I think the standard ones do a good job on some very high power cars so probably not much point.
  4. Anyway, did anyone else notice how good Vicky BH's melons were looking? :D  :ttiwwop:
  5. Nobody seems to have that one and if you collect the full set you can win any of the cars - must be about £35K price range too :D
  6. Mine is a copy of the Bomex one done by Peter at PPS: :nana2: :nana2: :nana2: :nana2: :nana2:
  7. Nice one chaps! :nana2:
  8. I didn't stay that long to find out. Dropped my car off there last week in their "capable" hands and they are very busy.

I tried EBC Red Stuff and they were lethal when cold in the morning, literally didn't work at the bottom of the hill near my house. Once they warmed up the grip was fantastic but they wore out in 2 months!
  10. 6 years in June. Paid £9K for it and and spent about another 20K on it since! Will keep it at least another 3 years yet.

I vote white as a lot of us already have black ones from last year anyway. But... I really don't want a T shirt with Peterborough on it LOL Not exactly LA or Vegas is it?! :D
  12. I'm after GT40 replica with a tuned V8 next I think. I do like the new TVR Sagaris though, very brutal looking.
  13. My mate Chris who helped us with my Z is looking to sell his speedboat. I was hoping to buy it myself but my engine work has ruled that out :( Don't know what make it is but its about 20ft with the biggest outboard you've ever seen. You would just love it LOL It's black with "Terminator" down the side in red :D Does over 70mph I think.
  14. I saw a program about him a couple of months ago. He's had most of his stomach removed to stop him eating all the pies LOL Said he can't even eat a whole microwave meal now. Lost a HUGE amount of weight to improve his health.
  15. I found the problem was mainly when i came off the power suddenly and braked down to a stop it would stumble and even stall sometimes. Adjusting the springs didn't help with that.
  16. You will get a stumble as the metered air is being dumped out instead of recirculated. One of the drawbacks of BOV's. My S-AFC has a feature to compensate for this.
  17. It's the cooler for the gearbox but it's only the UK car that has one. It's not really needed.
  18. I only read the other post about his lack of technical knowledge. Must be another Paul C ;) :D
  19. He said it only does it when he puts his foot down so i can't see it being the fan. Just to point out there are 2 recirc valves, one each side of the car!
  20. Had a company Maestro 1.8 van for my first 2 years on the road then changed jobs and bought my first car - a silver 1.3 Golf for a grand. Fitted a new zorst and 4 new tyres then wrote it off a week later, taking a brand new Saab 900 Turbo Convertible with it costing about £26K back in '92 :o LOL Replaced it with a stunning Renault 11...
  21. You need to cut and join a section of harness to the box/alternator but other than that its dead simple really as all the holes are ready in the right places. Fitting the pedal up under the dash is a complete back-breaking tw@t of a job though!
  22. Have your dentists number handy before you try that one ;)
  23. If you look under the dash at the pedal you'll see a couple of switches that can be adjusted in and out to alter the play in the pedal. There's the same setup on the brake for the brake light switch. If this doesn't do it the you might have to bleed the system.
  24. Sounds like either leaky recirc valves or a boost leak somewhere. Check all the air pipes and intercooler connections are done up tight first. Not sure how you can identify the recirc valve problem without swapping them but anyone who's had it will know the sound - often said to sound like a goose or an owl! Do a search on here for "goose honk" for lots of info! Chris.
  25. Courtesy Nissan? Mike @ MJP? Wouldn't get a second hand one as they all go at some point.
