After market Dump valves not making any sound
Here's the link to the other thread so we can all read an endless loop about BOV's :D LOL http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=48316

Rover fallout begins
All looks very dodgy to me. Parts suppliers have been approached to send parts to China to build the cars there! :o At least it might save a few jobs short term but you can guarantee it's just to keep things running smooth until they can make their own bits.

LOL it's OK I replied for you! I've got the TurboXS ones too.

Broken Clutch Fork
Gave up and ordered one from my local Nissan Mainstealer. £40 and 5 days delivery :( Might see if I can get someone to weld a bit more strength into it anyway.
-
what do you think of these BOV's?
These are copies of TurboXS BOV's. They look like the Type H-34's to me. http://www.turboxs.com/BOV/bovproducts.shtml I've got the Type H RFL's on my Z and they are the loudest I've ever heard - as the model name says: Really F*****g Loud! If they are made to the same standard then that price is a bargain.

Momo handbrake kit code
The handle is the same but there's different sizes of insert around the button depending on the car ;) Got mine at Trax last year and had to guess the nearest size.

cambelt alignment help!
I had to ask exactly the same when i did mine... looks worrying but as Mat says it's just the ones on the gears that matter :)

Broken Clutch Fork
Justin, I spoke to Smithy yesterday and he can't get them. The only one he knows of is the Nismo but it would be weeks to get hold of. I got the stronger pivot ball off him as they are known to go with uprated clutches but the fork seems a rare failure.

Broken Clutch Fork
It's not great to be honest. Wasn't my first choice though. I had an RPS Sport Max clutch which was smooth as anything and very light to use but had problems getting gears after a while until eventually i got stranded. Was in a rush to a feature on Men & Motors TV the same day and the garage only had the ACT clutch in stock so i went for it even though they couldn't see anything visibly wrong with the RPS. Now the fork has snapped its clear that that was probably the cause originally. I presume it was bent so it wasn't moving the clutch far enough to disengage. The ACT judders and vibrates and makes a continous noise when driving. Almost shakes the car to pieces sometimes but it is good for fast getaways. Unlike the RPS which was smooth and silent. Was going to sell the RPS as it is like new but i think i'll save it for when this one wears out, which with my driving won't be long!

Broken Clutch Fork
Does anyone know where I can get an uprated clutch fork? Mine has snapped since fitting the ACT paddle clutch and I'm a bit worried about using a standard Nissan one again @ £40  Already got a stronger pivot ball as I thought that's what had gone :nono:

JAE.....Who's going???
Yeah and you can keep your hands to yourself this time  I'll be there all weekend.

vibration
I think this is the part: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=37521-Z32TT&Category_Code=Z32-DRIVE-SHAFT That's about £60 plus shipping. I'm sure Nissan Mainstealers here will be a rip off. Should only take half an hour to an hour to fit i think. Did mine myself.

operation "keep the zed" - do i really have to drive THAT!!
I had a Saxo diesel for a year so you have my sympathy! Just sold it as despite the 50odd MPG I just couldn't bear to be seen in it any longer and the boat style handling was just plain dangerous. Slowing for corners didn't help as the pedals are so close together that unless you have size 3 feet then you'll hit the brake, accelerator and clutch all together! The biggest pi$s-take of all was the high spec model name "Diesel Desire" :hurl: A Brazilian friend of mine pointed out that the stylised badge on the back looks like "Saco" - Portuguese for boll0cks! :xxx:  Good luck! Chris.

Are you sure you're old enough to own a Z?

vibration
Prop shaft centre bearing is a really common fault that most people get at some point. It's not a huge job to change and the part isn't too expensive. Tends to cause a resonating vibration that comes and goes at a certain speed.

what nose panel is it ??
Yes it's a Bomex Type 3: http://www.bomexaero.com/prdnsz32u.htm Peter made me a copy from a standard panel instead of paying so much plus shipping from Japan.
