Have to say his Z was one of the 3 that made me mod mine along with Macca's and Jonny Grasshopper's. But.... I'm taking the box off to look at a clutch problem and I've heard you can get an uprated fork. Where from and how much? Can't see any about. Might even be the fork that's snapped - haven't got underneath for a look yet.

If the clutch had gone it would still change up but slip. Does sound like a solenoid or something but I'm not sure how you check it from here. I think and auto box specialist would be able to test it but they are bound to be after work...

Get all the bits yourself and you can do the job for £600 - £800 squids. Hardest part is bolting the clutch pedal in under the dash on your back! :smash:

The Apexi S-AFC II has a feature to prevent this. Got one on mine.

I found a lever down near the drivers seat and after pulling it a huge hole opened up at the back of the car. No idea what it was for but whatever was in there has gone. I'm going to use it to put the spare wheel in instead of driving about with it on my knee.

Well I've got the R34 calipers and disks and they are superb. I know the pads they use are also for a BMW 8 series so they may be the same calipers. Could have a different fitting though I suppose.

Vijay, You can use one of these USB link cables but they are a bit short and really meant for just copying stuff between PC's when you need to move some files. Usually around £80 for a router and £20 for the cards. Everything is coming with wireless built in now so you can connect PC's, Games Consoles, PDA's, Phones etc to the internet and share files.
