They are using camera vans to scan for tax disks as you drive by now so you'll get a fine through the post without even knowing you've been caught. Get it stuck on like everyone else LOL

That's probably more that if it's set on cold then you are taking no hot air from the system into the cabin. If your car starts to overheat the best way to minimise it is to put the heater on hot full blast and the temp will drop quite a bit - it's like having a second rad in the cabin pulling off heat. And yes the ECU does switch off the aircon anyway when you floor it. On an auto you can see the Power light come on while it goes into hyperspace LOL

Think you're all getting mixed up with creep and creak! All auto's creep a bit, they have to start moving when you take your foot off the brake or they wouldn't go anywhere! As for creaking that's down to the condition of your brakes.

Gutted I missed yet another top meet! :( Thanks to Macca for helping with fitting the clutch pivot ball on saturday but it was too much of a job to get finished in time on a pair of Halfords axle stands! Oh well, should be back on the road by the bank holiday weekend.

Have to say I do slow down for the warning signs that light up as they are usually placed at dangerous spots for a reason, unlike the speed cameras that are placed on roads with the most speeders! People are usually over the speed limit in these places because the speed limit is too low for the conditions in the first place. We are not allowed to use our judgement anymore and will soon all need a personal police escort to drive anywhere. I haven't been stopped for speeding in years now, mostly because i know where all the cameras are in my area and have a Snooper anyway. The only times i've ever had a ticket in my life it's been from a roadside cop hiding behind a tree with a radar gun and I haven't seen one in the whole of Yorkshire in a good 5 years! :D If they want to replace expensive traffic cops with cameras I'm not sure i can complain ;) P.S Mr G Pants, my only leaking fluids are now out of the exhaust to reduce camera evidence even further :D
