Yes it's part of the steering boss kit but only any use if you have a wheel with an open centre and don't mind using the rather ugly looking horn button. On my Momo Millennium it would all be hidden under the centre cover and useless. The other option is to extend the wires back down from the steering column and mount the original cruise buttons on your centre console or dash.

I'll be coming along the M62 so might see someone on the way :) I'm giving Mac a lift and expect to be at the ferry terminal around 5 ish. Few reminders: Can you all please check with your mobile provider that you have international roaming set up so that you can use your phones abroad! Sounds silly but last time we got over to Belgium and out of about 10 of us there were only 2 or 3 phones working and I ended up lending my phone to everyone! It's worth us all swapping numbers in case anyone gets lost. HICAS is the rear steering system and it's linked to the power steering. Chances are your power steering fluid is low so open the big green pot on top of the drivers side wing and check the level. If you need to top it up then its Dexron II or III type Automatic Transmission Fluid you need from any car spares place or most petrol stations.

Would have liked to do a longer drive but no time, spent 2 days sorting this when I should have been getting ready for the trip. All because the Grasshopper muppets fitted an old pump and a belt that was so tight the alternator was on its minimum adjustment and still overtight, shagging the bearings!

I found some dodgy looking joints in the control box and soldered them up but it still turned out to be the motor. If you can hear clicking it sounds like the relay is working so chances are it's the motor.

Probably the motor failed. Just done one myself and its a right pain of a job :(

Flow is probably easier through the HKS but it has about the worst filtration of all of them too. It won't affect what boost you reach though, there must be some other reason.

3 days to go until the Amsterdam/Germany/Nurburgring trip and my water pump has failed after 3500 miles back on the road. The bearings have gone and there's water gushing out of the end of it. Stripped things down and it looks like the new pump I supplied to Grasshopper wasn't fitted and I've been given someone elses old pump :mac1: There's even 2 screws missing off it that the fan mounts on :rant: Hopefully I've got one on the way for saturday morning so I'll have the day to fit it before getting the ferry on sunday - if all goes to plan... Your prayers would be appreciated! :rofl:

I think the plan is to spend Monday night in Amsterdam and then head into Germany on Tuesday... Allowing for hangovers I would have thought we could all meet up Tuesday around midday somewhere but maybe it's best if the euro guys tell us a good place to meet? Yeah get down to the cop station and report her for criminal damage. If she's sent you the photo's then you have more than enough evidence it was her! Anyone who does that is a proper psycho and needs teaching a lesson - there's no excuse for damaging stuff like that. Hopefully you'll be able to fix it with the compensation. Even if you were going to scrap it you've still lost a fortune in good parts.
